No problem saying you prefer Definitely Maybe, but "much better" than Morning Glory? Nah. I don't even think it's possible for a record to be "much better" than (What's the Story) Morning Glory - its tracklisting is just too strong. Anyway, how're your Be Here Now remasters coming along, Avenger? It's done, all of them are on my soundcloud except AATW unfortunately (it kept getting taken down). Could you give us a link to your soundcloud?

So I was lying on my bed today and it hit me -
"I'm in the mood for Heathen Chemistry."
What's wrong with me? Are there any doctors on this forum?

Currently spreading rapidly throughout my brain as I now find myself enjoying (Probably) All In The Mind. Requesting urgent help.

Is it any wonder why princes and kings are clowns that caper in their sawdust rings? Ordinary people that are like you and me, we're the keepers of their destiny.

Update on my current condition. Currently spreading rapidly throughout my brain as I now find myself enjoying (Probably) All In The Mind. Requesting urgent help. you got me in the mood to hear that tune again, it's not as bad as I remember. in fact, it's quite good, I particularly enjoyed the outro. if it was a little bit more uptempo it'd be better, though. also, HC isn't a bad album, the only tracks that I don't find enjoyable on it are The Hindu Times and the instrumentals (A Quick Peep, The Cage), and maybe She Is Love. other than those, it's a pretty solid album and flows from one song to the next easily. /don'thatemeplease

I like HC too. It may be their least best album and it may have a number of issues but I am far closer to liking it overall than hating or even disliking it. Songbird, Hung in a Bad Place, and The Cage are my favourites off it.

Hungover from last night, so currently in a pub to ease it and banging out some Oasis tunes on the jukebox.
The Tuesday morning pissheads don't know what's hit them!
Currently got Bag It Up on.
This band is my life.

Following on from the previous page I actually think Definitely Maybe is much, much better than Morning Glory. Oh and so is Be Here Now

Noel made a big decision back then after SOTSOG to let Andy and Gem write songs for the albums. It changed everything, they were never the same band after that. My thought for today is did he knew what he was doing then or was it just like a spontaneous 'hey you got some songs? let's record it'. I mean it's kinda big deal to do something like that at this point of their career.
I wasn't there to react cause i got to Oasis in 2009, but wasn't you the older fans a bit dissapointed by that when you find out that Noel only writes half of the album now ? And i'm not saying that Gems or Andy's songs are good or bad, but Oasis even as a commercial product is assiociated with this myth of two brothers singing and writing their songs, it's obvious that it's loses a bit of it's original value after something like that. I wonder does Noel ever regreted it, cause it wasn't just like the new line up, it changed the whole formula of the band with all the cosequences, it changed the whole story.

I tried listening to Hey Now! from start to end again. I ended up liking it. the chorus/coda is still dreadful compared to the verses though

I really wish we'd got to hear Hey Now live in 96 as they initially planned to do it, during the American tour. Would have been such a great live song, making more people appreciate the album version too. Hard to believe an album as iconic and era-defining as MG has a 'lost track' even to this day. Still waiting on Noel to play it. Liam should beat him to the punch and do it acoustic in a pub.
