Let Forever Be brings up a really nostalgic feeling for some reason.
And even though it's Noel on vocals I don't even connect the song with Oasis, it reminds me of something else. Always preferred it over Setting Sun tbh.

Always preferred it over Setting Sun tbh. I love that tune. Great drum loop and bass riff. Typical sunshiny Noel pre-98 melody that would have made for a nice BHN-era b-side, though it lacks a real chorus. Always wondered how much, apart from the tune, Noel was actually involved in composing the song. Surely he had demoed it acoustically in some form before giving it to the Chems. Surrender has been their last quality and at least halfway inventive album as well, in my opinion.

Always preferred it over Setting Sun tbh. I can remember buying the single in Aug ‘99 nearly two decades ago. Shiiiieeeeeeeet! X

They really need to start bringing VR commercially.
Could you imagine a VR gig of Oasis at Maine Road? Would be just like being there, except for being soaked in piss of course.

The Masterplan sounds fucking brilliant on vinyl. Really glad I grabbed the 2009 reissue, but also feel really fucking stupid for only grabbing DBTT as well...

And I think it's time we have some FUCKIN fun innit Man. I wonder what life would be like today if Oasis had fully embraced their punk side? They did it better than 99% of the skinny little hipster pricks around these days, last punk gig I went to no-one even jumped around... just stood perfectly still and watched.

The lead singer is a good mate. This was a few years ago mind. Unless Twisted Wheel counts as punk, cos people went fucking ballistic for them.

Does anyone else think the riff at 2:20 sounds like something Oasis have played? From Be Here Now?
Because it sounds so familiar and when I grabbed my guitar I immediately knew how to play it. I mean yeah it's a basic riff but it sounded too familiar.
e. Maybe it was Columbia at 4:10. Not identical but I'm pretty sure that's what I was looking for.

Anyone know when Noel moved down to Chiswick? Any clues would be much appreciated as it would help date things within the Oasis timeline.

I have multitracks for Oasis songs but The Shock of the Lightning file is actually Bag It Up and The Turning cuts short after 3 minutes.
I tried to find them from another source but it's the same in those files too. Does anyone have the right files?

When I die can someone please scatter my ashes over London while playing Oasis’ Live Forever. It’s what I would have wanted. Thanks.
