I think if Liam gave I'm Outta Time to Noel in its current form, Noel would be able to turn it into a majestic, and sweeping ballad of sorts. IOT is good, don't get me wrong. But it's missing that Oasis magic that really only Noel can bring. Plus, it would be cool to have a Noel/Liam song-writing collaboration. Strikes me as a bit weird that a band who obviously collaborated a great deal on the backing tracks (see the HC, DBTT and DOYS press kits where they talk about all sharing instrumental duties in the studio) didn't ever write songs as a unit. Imo from HC onwards they could have just credited all the tracks as "written by Oasis". There are some LAG tunes that, with a bit of Noel polish, could have been real bangers.

Magic Pie is the most slept Oasis song of all time, only those who appreciate real art will understand its majestic, youthful soul

Allow me to disagree, it doesn't need to be an epic majestic ballad a la SCYHO imo, I like the more simple and short approach of IOT as it is, not every ballad need to be a big power ballad, I liked how Liam was the opposite to Noel, writting more simple acoustic ballads like GGTIA, IOT and Songbird instead of DLBA-ish songs.

If Oasis began a decade later, with everything else being equal, The Masterplan would have been their third album. Because at the turn of the century b-sides were becoming much less prominent, so all those left over songs Noel had would have been released as a proper album you'd imagine.
But if Oasis began a decade later, they wouldn't have been nearly as big. Oasis were the right band at the exact right time.

Americans love She's Electric - you'd be surprised at the popularity of this song is in the US. It's hardly ever played on the radio, yet Americans dig it.
Out of all the hundreds of Oasis tracks, this is the one they gravitate towards? I do despair.
And for the record, Digsy's Dinner is far superior.

Fuck Bonehead's Bank Holiday fuck, the drunk bantz at the end makes for a hot and steamy one night stand. Marry Digsy's Dinner because it will be the best days of our live, innit. I put way too much into this.

Bonehead’s bank holiday is obviously a tune and everything... but imagine how much of a cult favourite it would have been if Bonehead had actually sung it
