I mean can Liam's voice be any worse?
I wish my friends would have seen Oasis back on the Brotherley Love tour when they should have
I really thought they were the best live band at one point. Not any more. I know Liam smokes and drinks but this is god awful now.
I know i was drunk but here is the Across the Narrows Lyla

a quite obvious indication of liam's vocal decline is that i dont have half as many bootlegs from this tour as from previous ones...the heathen chemistry world tour was a hard listen but nowadays he pretty much tops it in the way that good shows have become the exception and not the rule...he rapes nearly every single song.
i dont think it caught much attention around here but if you listen to his vocals on within you without you (sgt peppers tribute) he sang the high notes there perfectly! he actually sang.
and they recorded the song within a day...so i dont think there was much post production going on.
the topic has been extensively discussed in the past and since it's clear to everybody what can be done against his crow-like screaming and that he can deliver a good live performance at least every now and then, we can still hope..

Theres some great software out there today though which can, with a few clicks of a mouse, make his vocal in tune. Theres no way Noel would have released it if he wasnt happy with Liams voice so they must have used it. |

Maybe we should get up a petition to tell Liam his voice sucks and he should get off the booze, cigarettes and drugs. But even then he'd probably just tell everyone to fuck off so there isn't much point in talking about it. We should all just put a headline on every Oasis fansite saying "YES WE ALL KNOW LIAM"S VOICE IS SHIT, NOWADAYS!!!".

it's so sad though
Liam used to be able to hit every word and every note perfectly. Slide Away and Some Might Say circa 1997 = amazing.
We've all been through the countless speculation. But that's what it remains - speculation. We have no real indication to why or how this transition from a great voice to a horrible voice happened. All we know is that it did happened, and it occurred from around 2002 to 2005.
How can someone lose their voice that badly in just 3 years?

i'd say it happened between 98 and 2000.
His voice has changed and that's normal, the thing is he tries to shout and not sing so obviously it sounds awful but when he tries singing he's still one of the best rock'n'roll vocalists out there

i think his voice sounded fine in the brit awards early this year
but the last time he had sang on a concert was 11 months before in mexico!

I don't mind some hoarsness in his voice. I just can't stand when gets stuck in that damn kermit voice.

Do you guys think why Liams voice is so bad sometimes is from getting his teeth knocked out back in 2002?  ? Maybe Im being nice. BUT, just when I think his voice is gone, then you hear the song Guns (rough mix) and Im like WOW !! what a great rock n roll voice. Take the good with bad or the bad with the good, I guess.... |

Across the NArrows was the worst his voice ever sounded IMO. But it was the day after MSG which his voice was incredible...maybe they went allitle nuts with the booze after that show i mean it was MSG.

You're wrong... MSG concert was in June and Across The Narrows was in September or October, I believe. After MSG they had the day off and then had the show in Boston (Mansfield). Was at both shows and Liam sounded spectacular! But I agree that at Across The Narrows he sounded shit.
