I said on another thread I thought it might be a single to promote the film. I just can't see this virtual world thingy being the big announcement, mainly because Noel is supposed to be announcing something on the radio tomorrow, and I just can't imagine Noel trying to explain the internet thing. "So, big announcement Noel?" 'Yeah, summat on the computer thingy, fook knows what you do."

I remember back in 2004 that HMV had listed " the ear has no memory" for september... this means nothing... let's just wait for Noel's "big announcement" maybe it's something about a new record deal

that says the single is coming out Oct 21, the HMV website says the CD is coming out Nov 19th, also the single is only being released digitaly, this is an actual CD, so its not Lord Dont Slow Me Down
the e-mail also says nothing about the "video exclusive" on Oct 1, so i doubt its for Lord Dont slow me down. Suppose the new Video Oct 1, and this CD on Nov 19th have to do with eachother...

I want to be able to hold an oasis single in my hand! I like the artwork and sleeve notes and the printed logo on the CD itself. I like the idea of selling digital and physical music but not digital only! |

totally agree... if they want to release it digital, fine! but they have to release a regular CD too  i dont like digital when it comes to bands i cherish i dont want to burn it to play it on my stereo  |

So we're all in agreement then? Boycott the digital only single! If nobody ponies up the cash for the thing hopefully they won't do this crap to us again! Digital only is fine for Britney Spears or Paris Hilton's retared music, but don't stick a CGI knife into the heart of oasis like this!

I think live4ever.net should make an exception to the rule about making commercially released songs available on the site and put this song EVERYWHERE on this site. Like a permanent download link somewhere on every single page. 'Cause people that don't have the song do still want it. I know I do. But let's make it easy for people not to want to download it.
