Depends on my mood , cause Bowie always changes the game ...... You never know what your gonna get , why he is the man. The lp I probably listened to most for my personality is ziggy. But there is no wrong answer

Ziggy... is a personal favourite of mine, masterclass! One not included is his self title album which is also brilliant. Starts off witch Space Oddity and includes Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud and Memory of a Free Festival (both versions are )

I love Heroes - the songs are outstanding, and the instrumentals of the second half creep me out. Then it's all topped off by The Secret Life of Arabia - got a good pulse to that one!

I voted for The Man Who Sold The World. Why? The singer wore a dress on the cover so the man who was selling the world was a cross dresser. That's irony you can appreciate. That he made for a wretched chick I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole is immaterial, the point is that he did it and blew Ronno's guitar on stage making everyone uncomfortable. That's rock n roll.
"Turn around, go back!"

I've never bothered with it because I've heard it's a bit half-baked, and basically just an attempt to cash in on popularity of Space Oddity. Might have to give it a go now...

Worth it for Janine and Unwashed And Somewhat Slightly Dazed alone. An interesting album in the sense that he assumes the persona of someone who's been a major player in rock up to that point (he wasn't) and that he's now making his grand statement on it all. If anything the Ziggy conceit started here and not with the next couple albums.

Low and Ziggy. It was easy but it would be hard to pick number three.

Sorry my fault, was getting it mixed up with space oddity LP. Shocked and saddened at the news this morning. RIP the Thin White Duke No, you were right actually, the Space Oddity LP has since been renamed just David Bowie - I imaging to try and cancel out the first self-titled album he put out in 1967. Anyway, I bought it last night off your recommendation, so will have a listen some time. Also, bought the full Let's Dance record after steering clear for the last few years, because of apparent 80s echoey drums and bad production and all that, but it's actually really good! I know that's probably nothing new to you, but I was quite pleasantly surprised.

Really tough to say. Berlin period is my favorite era of Bowie so either Heroes or Low probably gets my vote. That said you can't really go wrong I could see another 4-6 other albums on peoples list. Like the Beatles, its great that everyone has a different favorite and that everyone's favorite is actually amazing.

I'd still say Hunky Dory, with Ziggy Stardust in second place and Low in third place.

Just pulled up the Aladdin Sane tracklist there, fuck me what an album! The title song mightn't of been to many people's liking but that was just Bowie, I've always loved it but I forgot about the amount of class the other songs held!

I think mine is Aladdin Sane as well. But it's so hard to pick one. I enjoyed listening to Earthling & Reality this morning on the train. Looking forward to listen to Station to Station on the train tonight
