It's a good little tune, but (as quite often with Liam tunes....) it goes on for too long and becomes repetitive
same goes imo for:

soldier on
the morning son
wigwam
better man
don't brother me

after all this time a small part of me still thinks liam was trolling us a bit with 'bring the light'. it could very well be the worst choice for a single ever, and the worst lead-off single off any gallagher-related album. he wanted to shock people with btl, and boy did he ever, but not in a good way. four letter word should have been the lead-off single from dgss, no doubt about it.

Just listened to it again a couple days ago. I get folks' opinions that it shouldn't have been the first thing out of the box, but I still like it.
I think DGSS stands up better than BE.
