Seeing EL VY last week gave me an another discovery. I've never heard of Ramona Falls (Brent Knopf) before Matt Berninger and Brent formed EL VY. Being a huge The National fan, Matt was the main reason for me to listen and see EL VY, BUT I was really impressed by the another half of this project, a very talented guy called Brent Knopf. I'm in love with his work at the moment. I thought some of you - Cast, matt? on here would like him too. soundcloud.com/ramonafalls

I don't know that much about Ramona Falls, but the name sounds really familiar. I dug the El VY enough to check this dude out. Kinda sounds like a heavier Wild Beasts/Elbow. This guy definitely adds some edge to Matt's voice, which honestly I miss from the National. The track you post is pretty great. A lot of interesting sound and arrangement choices in there, but it still a solid song.

Haven't heard of them to be honest but that's a great tune that. Agree with Cast, reminds me of something from Leaders of the Free World era Elbow. I have a few albums by The National but El Vy are something I will have to look into most definitely.

I had never heard of them (him - Brent Knopf) before either. He was in the band called Menomena before he started Ramona Falls. Matt Berninger doesn't need anything else, but his voice, but Brent Knopf is the brain of EL VY. At last, but not least, what do you think of this guy, Lennon2217?
