I've heard a few of her songs on 3FM, and I like them, so will definitely check out more of her stuff.

I like her, she seems very authentic. A chick with a guitar rocking out? what's not to like

I was a bit late for the party as I just discovered her last night while looking on npr.org. I was "sold" as soon as I heard Pedestrian At Best She's got a guts and that's a good thing. I'm gonna deep myself into more work of hers.

Got her Split EP in April last year after I saw the video of her on Jimmy Fallon. Love her stuff, she's great live too. You should also check out Fraser A Gorman who is signed to her label 'Milk Records', he's great and a very nice guy.

I've now listened to more of her songs. Love her! I like her voice and the way she just keeps on singing and how it doesn't really make sense

Thanks Tom. I'm gonna check the demos. I'm doing fine. Thanks for asking. As you see, webby hasn't sent us old gangs away (yet).

First two songs on her debut album blew my mind but then i got bored quickly. But she is good Same. She just ran out of steam after that one-two combo. Her lyrics were solid throughout, however. Look forward to seeing what she creates in the future.

Pedestrian At Best is utterly brilliant - undoubtedly one of the best I've heard all year.

I can't believe I missed this. I gave it a pass over listen when it came out and I'll be honest it just rolled over me for some reason. Since she's gotten the Grammy nod and since I've be dumped I've really grown to absolutely LOVE it. It just fuckin real DIY rock n' roll and lyrically its probably the best thing I've heard this year from a rocker. Really vivid lyrics and a great conscious/self-depreciating attitude. Just goes to show you, you gotta be in the right head space when you listen to something. This album just describes life in 20's and its weird guitar twinkles sound like Pavement but melodies are as huge as Oasis'.
I really love Pedestrian at Best, but damn this album is all killer no filler. Almost every track is great, the ones that aren't are at least very good. This is a top five album for me this year. Gonna have to update my list in the other thread.
In a year where the ladies absolutely killed it - Sleater Kinney, Alabama Shakes, Bully, All Dogs, Florence and the Machine, this album is the finest of them all.

I just discovered her a couple of weeks ago while listening on npr.org. They had some kind of "the list of 2015" and her promo video of Pedestrian at Best was on the top of the page. I was sold to this song as soon as the intro came. I'm "studying" more of her stuff since then. If we, females would have had "balls", then she would have had one, same as the singer of Alabama Shakes. No non-senses, but just do it.
