Okay, they say it's a 'break', but let's be honest - it isn't. And their last album Neon Twang (2014) was ABYSMAL.
From their Facebook Page:
Just to clarify yesterday's message. We're not splitting up, we're just taking a break for a while.
After putting everything into this band for the passed ten years we've decided to dedicate some time to something else for a bit.
We love our fans and are genuinely sorry to mess people around who have already paid for hotels etc for new years. After literally hundreds of shows we can only recall pulling one of them in Norwich about six years ago, and that was due to Phil sounding like Marge Simpson.
We don't want anyone to be sad on the 19th in Brum. It'll be business as usual with a few extra treats thrown in. We thank you from the bottom of our Brummie hearts for your Love and support.
We'll be back at some point and hope to see you there.
Onwards and Upwards always.

What's more important is the fact that after a long search, The Twang have finally found someone who likes their music in Beady’s Here Now!

Two Lovers, Wide Awake & Barney Rubble. Great songs Aimless With An Aim is still their best. How it didn't make an album release, I will never know. It's their 'Whatever'
