My dad is 71. I'm 28. Yeah, not much room for crossover.

My dad introduced me to Springsteen and Jean-Michel Jarre, to name a few, and I own Born in the USA and Oxygène.

My dad is 71. I'm 28. Yeah, not much room for crossover. My parents are 43 and 55, and it’s not much different. My mom is like, “Wow, you actually can listen to a whole album?” So it’s just the stuff they were listening to on the radio that got passed onto me.

I pretty much spent my childhood listening to my dad's collection - introduced me to the Stones, Beatles, Kinks and the Who among many others. Still has a shitload of Beatles vinyls from the 60s lying around...cool stuff.

My dad discovered Coldplay recently. I sat in his car and there is like every single brand new Coldplay album on the passenger seat included live Mylo Xyloto tour or something and i'm like what the fuck.
He's cool though. I grew up with music like Bob Dylan, lots of 60's hippie stuff, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Leonard Cohen, Springsteen, so at least we can agree on good music from time to time.
