That's only one day show in Finland I think. It's a shame I have a driving lesson 3 hours before the the film and I live 60km away from the cinema so I probably won't be able to see it.

Driving lessons you can do anytime. I should know, I had about 30 of them at all sorts of times in the day, between late 2014 and midway through 2015 (seemingly to no avail - never got anywhere near good enough to be able go in for test ), but this is literally a once in a lifetime thing for a Finnish Oasis fan...

Sadly I can't... It's the first group lesson for all of us in the same class (theory). I can't skip it unless I skip the whole course. That isn't really possible either because I'm going to army in January and I have to do 2 driving courses before that. We have that 3-stage system in Finland. First stage is the biggest and it will get you the driving license but the thing is you can drive with it only 2 years and during that time you'll have to finish 2 other stages. If you can't finish them within 2 years, you have to take the driving test again and that's something I don't want to do. I got my driving license in May 2015 and I still haven't participated in 2nd and 3rd stage, and because I'll be whole next year in army, I have to pass rest of the courses this year. I should've done all that much earlier but I just couldn't be arsed. But it depends how long the lesson will be. I'm actually really fucking jealous. My friend will go to Oasis-anniversary party in Helsinki (140km away) tomorrow, where 3 tribute bands are playing whole night and he'll also see the documentary... He has relatives in Helsinki so he can stay the night there but I'd have to do a fucking all-nighter and take a train back to my town the next day... Or maybe I sleep in a car.

to play 250 million people in two shows. Wow that would be amazing. Or not if you live in China or India.

Will be interesting to see how American outlets review this documentary.

Will be interesting to see how American outlets review this documentary. I agree. While I hope this doc is amazing, it seems as though the British reviewers are colored by nostalgia of that time period in Britain, even if they weren’t fans of the band themselves. It’ll be interested to know what American critics think of it, when on the surface they should have attachment to neither.

Yea, we probably hear anything until we draw closer to the American premiere date (October 26th).

Given that tomorrow it hits the big screen, do you think the doc will leak online in the next few days?

While nostalgia does play its part for some, elements of the British press are no less likely to take a swipe at the Gallaghers. One review so far has said its 'surprisingly' good or words to that effect and the Uncut review seems backhanded at various points and feels like its written by someone who is no fan. I think you can only take the core points of any review if you are looking to eliminate bias as much as possible and what seems to be coming out so far is that its well put together, has heart and is very funny at times.

Movies don't leak like that. It might leak closer to the BluRay release. but there´s a good chance we get a cam version in the next few days after tomorrow. Why would you watch a cam version? I don't know where you live, but if it's at all possible you can make it to a cinema to see the film, do that. Failing that, be patient and wait for the blu-ray release/it being put up in HD on streaming sites. But don't watch some crummy camcorder recording of it. That's not cool...

I also watch shitty 3rd generation audience recordings of gigs (and if there is an upgrade available I´ll watch it again) so yeah of course I would also watch that movie as a cam version until I have the chance to see it in a cinema (Berlin) and get the Blu Ray.
