I think it will be very difficult to get a hold of Gem.
He's been lying low the last year, allegedly writing a sitcom about a crime fighting ice cream man and his trustworthy pet parrot assistant.

We at the music site Our Generation tried to arrange an interview with him via mail this summer, but he never replied. Although we contacted Lou on Twitter and asked her if he would be up for it. She told us she should remind him to answer our email. But as I said: He never replied. Since we interviewed Andy Bell a couple of weeks earlier we thought he would be happy to do it. But no. Partly that perhaps. He probably has nothing much to talk about and a lot of it would be about his accident and the split with the Gallaghers (Oasis/Beady Eye)

When it came out that he had broken a leg alongside his head injury i just got this image of him trying to go for a shit while everyone was out of the house and just hobbling up the stairs and falling back.
That should be a scene in his sitcom.

Gem seems not interested in anythings.
Music nowadays has no desire. Everything is going everywhere at the same time going nowhere.
I deleted the first post. I just would like to hear something from Gem. But maybe he's got nothing to say. It's not easy to have it. Either you have something to say or you are just one from the lot.
There's a song by H.Burns called Nowhere to be.
