He looks a silly bugger with that dyed brown beard cut at the chin. Get rid, mate.

Great interview with YOU DON'T HAVE THE ANSWERS here. Always a shame to hear him say that Relapse is his least favourite of his albums - like when Noel disses Be Here Now, you sense it's really more to do with what the album meant in terms of their overall career than the actual quality of the songs. Interesting stuff about Tyler too.

Yeah, I've been following his features, was listening to Homicide with the new Noel the other day. Honestly, I'm noticing this pattern with Em (you can see it in both of these tracks) where he starts off flowing on the beat smoothly like he used to, but then after a few bars he kills the instrumental and just starts doing that spiritualmiraclelyricalindividualinaswimmingpool look-how-fast-I-rap thing, even when it doesn't at all suit the vibe of the song at all, like in Rainy Days (which Boogie does better on IMO, although it's nice to Em actually doing features for rappers signed to Shady Records). Homicide is a bit better, and I love that they put that impression of Eminem at the end, but I still hope Em takes the good parts of Kamikaze (the concise tracklist, the hip-hop production and features), and concentrates on just making sonically pleasing, smooth rap songs for his next album. We get it, you can rap fast, but you never used to have to do that every five minutes to make amazing music:

We get it, you can rap fast, but you never used to have to do that every five minutes to make amazing music: I was watching random interviews, I've been on a big Eminem binge these past couple months, anyway I think this one was around Revivals release, Em was talking about some past singles he did like Phenomenal and Kings Never Die(?) and how he didn't give himself a chance to breath in his verses, justrappingnonstopwithoutpacinghimselfortakingabreathforlongintervals and he realized he needed to take a step back on that so I'm hoping he'll have a realization like that with his recent speed rapping. I've tried listening to other rappers but no one gives me that feeling Em does when I understand one of his bars like oh shit! I've enjoyed these collabs hes done though.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend listening to MF DOOM or Aesop Rock, two rappers who I consider better than Eminem (and who are still going strong). DOOM is more of a bar-rapper whereas Aes is more lyrical, but they're both fantastic: Other great rappers at the moment would be Kendrick Lamar, Killer Mike, Big KRIT, Black Thought, Danny Brown, Tyler the Creator, Lupe Fiasco, and about a million more haha. It's an amazing time to be into hip-hop.

The Eminem Show (2002) is quite easily his best.
White America, Business, Square Dance, Soldier, Without Me, Sing for the Moment
Proper class.

Listened to Relapse for the second time ever, and first time in a decade. I know it’s an unpopular opinion but I like Relapse more than Kamikaze.
Some top tracks - Same Song & Dance is epic.

Relapse twats any album he's made since 2010.

New album, Music To Be Murdered By, my favorite one off it is Leaving Heaven, his last verse reminds me of Cleaning Out My Closet, he really hated his dad.

Relapse twats any album he's made since 2010. Still true. I hope he leaves behind this cringey look-mum-I'm-rapping-fast style behind soon.
