Just got a notification from the ticketmaster app saying Noel's playing The Hydro on the 21st April. Would be odd to play Glasgow again but I'll put up a screenshot when I'm home. Edit: here we go

18.30? Weird time for a gig to start. Doors always seem to be 18:30 for the Hydro. The support never starts until nearer 8 though.

Any more info on this? Other dates? Had a look on various places only dates mentioned so far are Clyde 1 at the SSE on 8th December and the Radio X gig in Manchester a few days earlier- presumably more dates to be released in the near future.

Competition time! Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will be playing a 4 song set at the SSE Hydro on 8th December for Clyde 1 Live. If you can guess 3 out of 4 tracks played, or better, you'll be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets to see Noel at a live show in Scotland in 2016!
Maybe this is the gig they were referring to

Worth noting that I've had a couple of notifications from the app for gigs which didn't happen (Massive Attack and a Kanye West/Rihanna gig) so I suppose it's possible this could be the same but the bast majority of them are right.

Is he not playing in London this time? That's weird. I guess I will have to wait to see if a European tour is announced, since London is the only place in the UK I have a direct flight connection to.

Aberdeen on April 24th 2016 is also confirmed - got an email from Ticketmaster about that: Mancunian rocker Noel Gallagher will be returning to Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre’s (AECC) GE Oil & Gas Arena on 24th April 2016 with his High Flying Birds (NGHFB). The band, fronted by former Oasis lead guitarist and singer Noel Gallagher, formed in 2011 following the official split of Oasis in 2009. Since forming, the band has experienced massive success with their first album reaching number one in the UK Album Chart and double platinum in the UK. Gallagher made the announcement of a second album in August 2013 and work began quickly in the October. The highly anticipated album 'Chasing Yesterday' was written and produced by Noel Gallagher and recorded in Strangeways and the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London and was released in the UK on 2nd March 2015 with the album topping the UK Album Chart in the week of its release. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 23rd October from www.ticketmaster.co.uk/aecc

I don't think all the dates have been listed on SeeTickets yet. Can't see him missing London from a UK tour. There must be an official announcement soon if tickets are going on sale on Wed... Surprise Album Number 3 announcement anyone ;-P
