I reckon Jamie XX will win it which is fair enough, it's a great album. Foals and Florence + the Machine have released the best British albums of the year imo but I'd rather see someone like Jamie XX, The Maccabees, Everything Everything etc win it as they'll benefit more from the extra publicity and exposure.

Sleaford Mods are utter crud. I respect them for trying to enlighten people who would otherwise just swallow press lies, about some of the awful stuff that goes on in the world, and I think it's great that they're just two common-or-garden forty year olds who've upped sticks and left their jobs to pursue a life of creation and art, but the product of that, their so-called 'music'... my god it's bad.

I don't like them either, but apparently the critics love them. All the albums got a 80/10 at least Anyway, the OFFICIAL shortlist is not out yet, those above are just the odds.

Surprised Foals and particularly Everything Everything aren't on there. Still think Jamie XX will win it.

Slaves were on TFI Friday last night and I thought they were pretty decent but only heard a few of their tunes.
The only albums I've listened to are the Ghostpoet and Jamie XX one. Both good, but the latter one was fantastic in has to be said.

Love how the bookies were betting on Everything Everything to win it, and they aren't even nominated.

Glad that Aphex Twin's Syro is there. I think it is by far the best album released on that period, and we've had lots of good ones.

I'd go with Wolf Alice or Jamie xx. My preference would have been for Foals' though...
Still can't find anything about the performers.
