Instrumentals included on albums are more often than not basically just a half arsed attempt to fill a gap. An area that Noel has never been too uncomfortable with.

The 'Wednesday' tracks could have vocals for all we know. Do you guys remember the time we thought NGHFB had two instrumentals because of the "AKA ..." thing? We have no idea yet. In any case, I have no issue with instrumental tracks. Bring them on if they're good.

In that interview Noel said a track is called "Instrumental Number 3". That implies there could be three instrumentals. Or Noel is even shitter at counting then we could have possibly imagined. diffuser.fm/noel-gallagher-2017-album-release-date/Joking aside, in the context of the interview, he said that when pushed for song titles. I think he was just saying "it's not finished yet, some tracks don't even have words." No reason to believe there will be any instrumentals on the finished album yet. But I wouldn't complain if he pulls another FITB out of the bag.

Yeah i love instrumentals too. It all depends on how the other tracks are. Also i dont really count Fuckin in the Bushes as an instrumental, it's something else.
Foxygen new record only has 8 tracks but it's more like a journey from the first minute to the last, than a regular album. Maybe Noel is heading that way, one big piece of music.
He's clearly wanted to do a record where all tracks are linked and cant be substituted for years but never really achieved it.
The way the tracklisting looks, maybe all tracks are fading into each other. It's intriguing.

I'd say there's a chance Interlude 1 could have some kind of vocals...something like I Can See It Now. But even if not, and it's something like Teohutican, it's still cool

The track names are interesting, for sure. I like that, it leaves you with no expectation. Except "She taught me how to fly", it sounds like a song too similar too X Ray Eyes that it got rejected. Of course I'm only going off the list of names, but thats just the impression I get.
"Be Careful what you Wish for" That's the one I most want to hear, solely based on the title. I have this habit of looking at song titles of anticipated albums and wonder which my favourite tracks will be.

If you sing "She taught me how to fly" over the "The girl with X-Ray Eyes," then it matches perfectly

The weirdest title on the list is "Fort Knox"....what the hell rhymes with "knox"....socks?
Fake lyrics: "I can't break into your heart, it's like Fort Knox, but baby you should know, I love your comfy socks"

I'm feeling fairly confident we'll get a song in the next week now. Exciting times.
