We've had them since the day the album was announced. It's been on the Netherlands iTunes forever. My point was they were not there and now they are in the UK. Would this mean anything? It means the album's coming out in a week For real, I have no idea. It's weird we haven't got It's A Beautiful World yet.

Quality..? Have you heard Holy Mountain with headphones? As much as I love Noel I gotta admit that the production is complete rubbish. The same thing was said on As You Were and the leak quality was perfect The wall of noise on HM looks to be intentional. For all NG slates the sound of BHN, he has resurrected it here with this track. Exactly, it has the Phil Spector wall of sound style to it. Completely intentional, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Of course, people will scoff at your Be Here Now suggestion, but I totally understand. The song isn't like anything from Be Here Now, but the spirit is there. The chaos and euphoria I totally get.

Wall Of Glass sounds the same in the video and in the first leak I downloaded. Holy Mountain sounds bad in the video,in Spotify,in the download...it has a terrible production. Jeez I consider myself a 'Noelist' but these days seems like anything makes everyone jump. Almost everyone here will listen to this album when it leaks. Don't tell me how Noel wants me to hear it because Noel doesn't a single fuck. Just take a look at the management behind the albums marketing. Its complete rubbish. And if people cant get over that music will be download it for free,I'm sorry. Go back to the 90s. In my case I will listen to the leak and then the album when arrives because I already bought it. But don't tell me how should I listen to music or how I shouldn't. Don’t be an arsehole, it’s just rude. I wasn’t to you so don’t be to me. I haven’t told you how to listen to music, I’ve gave my opinion on leaked music and how an artist like Noel intends for people to listen to his music. He obviously does give a fuck or he wouldn’t be releasing it. I’ll quite happily go back to the 90’s. You wouldn’t survive it because albums didn’t leak and fans appreciated proper hype. Try queuing up for hours in the morning for an album coming out or for buying tickets then you can be condescending to me. Wasn’t for fans like me back then, you wouldn’t be listening to Noel today. Didn't mean to sound rude mate. I'm just a bit tired of some Noel fans waiting with their teeth out and when someone says something bad about him just jump right in. And of course I would've loved to live something like that. I just imagine waiting on queue and feeling the excitement. And a place full of people that are there for the same reason. Sounds absolutely beautiful to me. But times change, and now we can't run away from music leaks. The way I do things now is just download the leak and if I like what I hear I happily buy the album. Except for the case of the Gallagher releases, which I know I will love. I even find myself enjoying HC and DGSS sometimes. That's why I got the Oasis logo tattoo in my arm lol because I love every Gallagher release. But I can't wait 2 weeks until I got the album in my hands reading all the reviews and posts about something I've been waiting for 2 years. (Yes,some might say that if I can wait 2 years then I can wait 2 weeks but I'm an impatient little fuck). So as I said, sorry for the missunderstood mate, didn't want to sound rude. We're all here for the same reason,so peace and love!

I do miss the time when I had to stand in a queue at front of a ticket shop all night to buying a ticket for a gig. Compact disc? Internet? I'm one of those analog generation. Of course time change, things change and people change, but my passion for music never change.
Nobody tells others how to listen to music nor how to and in which format you have to purchase music, but in this modern society we're living in, everything must have done in a minute. Fast, quick, grab as much as you can! Hallelujah, take it easy.
Still 9 nights to sleep until when I hold my copy of Who Built The Moon and to listen to the entire album for the very first time!

I’m not just talking new album leaks. It goes for all albums. You can find literally every album in two seconds. Same as signing into Spotify and searching for a song. Maybe the new generation is just too lazy to do anything or even own/store music. Who knows. Well the As You Were leak showed it's not that easy. Many people on here even were lost on how to find it / download it. Dont underestimate the googling skill, it's a skill. People don't know how to use google. I dont know if the younger generation is lazy, but piracy requires time and dedication, and the proper equipement. As i said, mobile usage is now the common usage of the internet, Google is moving its results index to mobile first. So piracy is for nerds (like us) and the older generation who still use a laptop for everything. We 30s something people have grown with it, the 15 / 20 year old have not. It's not part of their culture. There is also, as you said, the owning part of music. Music is now another post, another youtube or spotify link. It's not as valued as much as it used to. The money has clearly shifted to live performance, the rise in ticket prices is a sign of that. Therefore i suppose there's less envy to try and find music as soon as possible. When something is fed to you, with bother looking for it ? Thats an excellent point about the laptop vs mobile aspect. I didn't really consider that much. You are right. For an album leak you need a laptop for the initial download and then transfer to the phone or whatever. Withs Spotify you just plug and play.

When was It's a Beautiful World taken down from youtube? Like the real song or Jools Holland? Maybe they took down Jools to prep potentially for the Beautiful World launch?

Given how many people (mostly reviewers) say that Beautiful World is a great song, not releasing it as a single a couple weeks ago really seems like a lost opportunity for Noel's management to build excitement among the broader fanbase.

Well he still has a week to play with before the album drops. If its as good as he and reviewers say, it could make a nice splash in the charts. And by splash for a 50 year old rocker I'm talking like mid 30s. We shall see if Friday brings us any luck. Singles don't really do shit once the album is out on all formats. I think Noel should lead with his best foot forward.

It should have been the first single. If they test previewed that to anyone before hand, just like heard from that youtube preview and based on the reception here on the forum, they would have seen that of all the tunes heard it was the most promising.

People have a short attention span and a short memory. The best is to release the best song as single few days before or at the same time as the album.

Piracy culture is clearly on the decline. the Younger generation cant be bothered, numbers are showing piracy is declining. It's a 30/40 something phenomenon, so it still exists. But with Netflix, Spotify that lowered culture costs, and mobile use of the internet, leaks are not that damaging anymore. + most of the records leak H-24 before release, so people that are very interested have already pre ordered it. I think Andy just called you old Lennon2217 ;-P X

Cannot wait to hear this album. Every track sounds so interesting! To sum up what we know:
Fork Knox - Absolutely epic trip-hop and electronica. Holy Mountain - Fun party tune with brass and whistles. Keep on Reaching - Lots of brass, uplifting, Noel sings like Marvin Gaye. Beautiful World - Mix of guitars and electronics, sarcastic song, nice chorus and French interlude. She Taught Me How to Fly - Wrote for Blondie, very uplifting and upbeat. Be Careful What You Wish For - A sleek groove that may or may not rip off The Beatles. Black & White Sunshine - Sounds like The Rolling Stones, good riff and Noel like the lyrics. Wednesday Part One - ?? If Love is the Law - Perhaps another party tune, with Marr on Harmonica. The Man Who Built the Moon - Bond-like and epic. End Credits (Wednesday Part Two) - ??
HYPED.

Yeah hyped, although i feel like it's gonna be one track short of being the perfect length. Just a feeling. We'll see. (maybe the reason for Dead on the Water being thrown on there like a dead body in water ?)
