I’m looking forward to hearing the album as a whole. Holy Mountain just sounds like a fancy Bring The Light / Mucky Fingers on it’s own for me, not a bad thing but not what I was expecting. Fort Knox on the other hand is an absolute banger, really like that. Only listened to She Taught Me How to Fly twice and I like the New Order / Joy Division vibe to it but not 100% on the lyrics. I mean recycling Put Yer Money Where Your Mouth Is....? However, I reckon hearing it all as one continuous piece of music the album will be cool. How long to go Gas Panic? Absolutely. I love As You Were and looking forward to Noel's 3rd album as well. People should enjoy music instead of bitching to each other. I'm not Gas Panic, but here it is your answer, Jim: 21 days until Who Built The Moon hits the shelves!

Call me spoiled, but I'm expecting to listen to this album within the next two weeks.

So far this album reminds me of Original Soundtracks 1 by Passengers (U2 & Brian Eno).
Some great moments on that album (Your Blue Room, Always Forever Now & Miss Sarajevo) but I think there is very thin line between genius and crap on an 'experimental' record.

I think there's a very good chance it'll be the best post-2000 Gallagher album. That post took a severe left turn at the left, there. I think most left turns are at the left, to be honest.

I'm zero hyped about this at the moment. It feels weird because this is the first time I feel like this with an Oasis related release, but the only song that got me excited so far is Fort Knox, the other two were just ok I guess. I wanted Noel to go experimental for about 15 years, but when I asked for an experimental album I should've specified I wanted a good experimental album. But I don't want to be pesimistic, hope we've heard the weaker songs from WBTM and to be proved wrong in the next weeks. If it makes you feel better, Q picked out STMHTF as the weakest song on the album in their review, because it sounds rather bland next to the rest. Which is probably why he played it. Personally I still think it'll be decent on the record, the chorus melody is wonderful. Really did need some work on the lyrics to make it less repetitive though. Paul Oakenfold likes it, I think we can chill.

On my daily commute, I like to blast whatever I'm listening to at the moment. I like a lot of different genres, so my playlists are very very varied, rarely sticking to a theme. If I'm pulling up to the building and something I think will be deemed "uncool" by judgmental coworkers comes on, I skip it.
Today, HM started just as I approached the parking lot. It just felt right. Blasted it all the way in. That whistle will not be denied.

Paul looks like Matt Damon and Jack Black starred in a remake of The Fly. It's funny you should mention it, because there's a not so well known story that after a recording session with the Happy Mondays, Paul went on a particularly mad chemical fuelled session with Shaun Ryder, which ended up with him vomiting on someones leg and then trying to eat it. X

I finally made sense of Fort Knox.... I encourage everyone to first play Fort Knox and then It Doesn’t Have To Be That Way by LG.....
And that’s what the beginning two tracks of a 2017 Oasis record would sound like.....INCREDIBLE.

Seems like Noel and Nic Chester from the band Jet had some similar ideas for their new records (especially at 2:30). I have to say that so far i prefer Nics released track. "It's a beautiful world" could be a game changer though, as i really liked the preview clip

Did the pre order today for the album. It's Noel Gallagher. The melodies are going to be there for sure. If Noel can trust his postman for the artwork then I think we can have a bit of trust in Noel for the songs....lol.

Not because I don't like the songs... I'm just one of those weirdos who likes to go out into the real world now and again and buy my albums from actual brick and mortar record shops. X

Now we have 4 songs - and 3 of them are pretty traditionally structured - I’m glad we have the 2 instrumentals to look forward to.

Honestly, though I don't agree with most of your posts, they're very entertaining because of all the passion you put into them.
