Sorry if this is off track here, but did anybody else who ordered tickets for the concert receive an e-mail about how your ticket purchase comes with a free digital download of the album? I opened my e-mail today to find that if I enter a code I can get Holy Mountain now and the rest of the album on its release date. It looks legit but I just wanted to make sure before I clicked on anything. Yes it’s totally legit. This seems to be a new trend in the industry. Already this year I got free albums from Arcade Fire and Liam. I wasn’t sure if this was just something done in America or at large. What say you? I didn't know it was done at all but I'm pleasantly surprised. Thanks very much for the helpful info! I'm in Canada so it's done here but I'm curious if anyone from outside the continent is getting this deal?

There has been some minor criticism of the tactic in America saying it’s kinda cheating to get a high chart placement by including it with every ticket sold for the tour. It certainly helped arcade fire get their third straight #1 despite waves of negative album reviews.

So I've just been listening to Noel's interview with Chris Moyles where he said he wrote some Oasis like choruses but David Holmes told him to change it. Not sure about that. Holmes knows what he is doing, he thought : Nah, save it for the reunion with Liam. huehuehuehuehue

It was interesting hearing Noel say he’s almost expecting an early leak.

It was interesting hearing Noel say he’s almost expecting an early leak. Wait, what? Where? I believe he said it on Chris Moyles. Said he wakes up and wonders is today gonna be the day it leaks. His reason for saying that is promo copies were sent out to friends and record companies months ago.

I will say, as you noticed, my e-mail gave me access to Holy Mountain now and said I would have access the rest of the album on the release date. Now, that alone doesn't rule out the possibility of another single being released between now and then but it certain insinuates that the next thing we will be getting is the full album. I don't know though. How has it worked for your other examples? Liam had out a few singles before the album, didn't he?

I’d expect Beautiful World to be released by November 3rd. That’s a Friday. He will just be back from South America and ready for full promotional duties. That is also 3 weeks before the album drops so the timing works perfectly.

Wait, no Noel blog this time around?
I read every entry in series 1 with NGHFB album, but didn't really read series 2 for Chasing Yesterday. But it just dawned on me right now....no series 3?

With Time Flies back on no. 15 in the charts and apparently some new (Liam) fans only now finding out about Oasis, do you think this is something that will also profit Noel? I mean, if I find a new singer I like and then madly fall in love with his until then to me unknown ex-band (and of course the newbies have to fall in love with Oasis, how could they not???) and then, a few weeks later, the main songwriter of that ex-band also releases an album, I'd certainly check it out. Of course, cunning plan or coincidential timing of those two albums, nobody could have planned for Liam to be going down so well. But I like the idea that in the end all three will profit from that new interest in Oasis (also since Supersonic, surely), Oasis back catalogue and especially both our solo Gallaghers.

It would be weird to release another single before then as well wouldn't it?

I am now really intrigued by Keep On Reaching. We have an idea what FK and IABW sound like. We know what HM sounds like. KOR is sandwiched in the middle. FK and IABW seem similar enough. HM is way different. Wonder what we will get with this song.

Didnt he say that it felt like a chore and that his Instagram posts would be something like his blogs from then on out(it was somewhere before or after releasing CY).

I'm also betting that this is the song that's got the highest note he's ever sung.

They were only there to construct his "Liam is awful, I have no choice but to leave Oasis" narrative anyway.
