do we have any reviews about what "holy mountain" sounds like? Actually, yes: 'Holy Mountain is a game of ‘spot the obscure sample’ amidst a joyous wall of sound. Symptomatic of the unhurried back and forth between him and Holmes, Gallagher says of the track: “David played me the sample, so I worked out the chords and we demoed just a few, short minutes of it, taking it away on tour and playing with it. When it became a song back in Belfast it was so joyous, I just had to do it justice. What’s more joyous than being in love, baby? So, I wrote a song about love and it’s one of the best things that I’ve ever done.”' www.pressparty.com/pg/newsdesk/Mcpr/view/170505/?isworld=yAnd there's also this short description that an user posted in the last couple of months: "Friend of a friend has heard this one as well (I've already proven I'm not a bullshitter with the Beautiful World info months back). He says it's kind of in the same vein as The Mexican ie rocky but with a big chorus."

Ugh.

Just don't like how it's considered so cool and how it seems Noel created all these new songs around "samples" this time. WTF.

Previous Noel process:
Chords --> Melody --> Song
Current Noel process:
Sample --> Noises --> Melody/Song?

Strange how Chris Evans is getting the exclusive... As in, Noel famously got the hump in 1997 when Evans slated Be Here Now. Supposedly he never got over it - Evans has actually commented on this a few times. Evans is a meff, like, but still... It's the biggest radio show in the UK, simple as that really. aye

Previous Noel process: Chords --> Melody --> Song Current Noel process: Sample --> Noises --> Melody/Song? Does it matter how the music was made as long as it's good? I don't mean to be rude, but you sound like one of those people who booed Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival when he went electric.

I personally hope that Noel will go full-amish in the future and make a record without electricity, singing and with zero instruments. Like, you know, "come back to the roots". Why experiment? Why grow as an artist? We'd all be fucking better off in caves eating moss.

Got a feeling this tune is gonna have a HEAVY refrain on it.
Don't ask me why.

Previous Noel process: Chords --> Melody --> Song Current Noel process: Sample --> Noises --> Melody/Song? Eh, as long as there's a great song at the end of it, who cares how he gets there?
