Noel is currently on Anais' Snapchat story engaged in a bit of drunken dancing. Please somebody save that video before it disappears.

I like to think Charlotte and her loudspeaker represent the media, bellowing negativity and panic into our everyday lives. Probably more like Trump. List time. Reasons Charlotte’s part is not Trump:- • She is female. In Trump World (worst amusement park ever) Charlotte would not be allowed scissors. Women and machinery would never mix. • Her spoken part is performed in a foreign language. In Trump World your inner-monologue can be sent to the pen should it dare steer from English. • She has great hair. It’s as cool as Will’s from Stranger Things. Controversial point: Trump does not have great hair. • NGHFB already has a despot. By the very definition of a dictatorship, there’s no room for a power share. To summarise: Charlotte’s part is not Trump. It’s the media jacking the veins of our existence with negativity and panic, to which Noel replies “Say what? Looks like a beautiful world to me”.

I just got an email: “Charlotte sent you a message about your resume on Indeed”, and all I could think was of Scissor Bird.

Songs I would like Noel to play:
OASIS: Falling Down The Hindu Times (Demo Version) The Importance of Being Idle Where Did it All Go Wrong? Half the World Away Don't Look Back in Anger
HIGH FLYING BIRDS: What a Life! Aka...Broken Arrow Let the Lord Shine a Light On Me Ballad of the Mighty I The Right Stuff In the Heat of the Moment
WHO BUILT THE MOON? All of it.
MISCELLANEOUS Setting Sun Let Forever Be
...Now how good would that be?

Are we sure this is coming out in Japan on Tuesday? I thought in Japan albums come out on Wednesday. Granted that is not a huge difference at all.

Topic.
I think I'm gonna skip this album and the tour. I really enjoyed the previous two albums and I don't mind Noel doing something different, but I just can't dig this kind of music. It's just not my kind of music unfortunately. What a bummer.

And you really needed to open a new thread about this instead of writing it in one that already exists

Topic. It's just not my kind of music unfortunately. What a bummer. What "kind of music" is it? - If you consider the 3 or 4 songs everybody has heard, they're all fairly different from each other. That said, i do find the quality of writing in them to be poor and uninspired. For something that was meant to be more experimental, it's actually all very safe and rather bland. Most of the songs themselves are as middle of the road as his first 2 albums and probably less inspired, they're just tarted up with different production to the usual Noel stuff. There's very little substance to it. Maybe it's not the "kind of music" that you don't like and you realise it's actually just a bit shit. I think more people will realise this in time. People are over-excited because it's new. When that novelty wears off, i think plenty of people will look back and actually see it's not that good.

sledgehammer87, there's already a plenty of threads on same topic, so no need to start a new one. I've merged your thread with this one. Cheers.

Apart from Fort Knox it just leaves me cold. Setting Sun was great because it was a belting Oasis song first that he handed over to the Chemical Brothers, the few songs off this album we've heard just lack his brilliance and I reckon it's because of limiting himself to writing in the studio. Beautiful World sounds like the 7th best song on a latter Coldplay album to me. Not my bag of tea,

I don’t know, I’ve been listening to the three songs we have quite a bit and they just get better and better for me.
