The clip of TMWHBTM is the best thing I've heard so far out of anything we've heard from this album cycle. Dead in the water sounds great but I've listened to that clip of TMWBTM a thousand times already. That’s me with Dead in the Water. I’m singing the chorus in bed next to my sleeping fiancée and she’s about to call off the wedding.

Can't wait to hear this in full! Me too, I think this will be another favorite for me. Musically it sounds like Noel is really starting to evolve to a good place on tracks like this.

I just ordered the album online via Amazon, my first foray into online cd ordering; know some one who recently received an album the day prior to official album release, wow. Thanks. I picked up his last album the day before official release. If you have a local record shop that gets current vinyl releases and make friends with the people that run them, you can usually hear a record they have waiting for release the following day. Most record shops still get stuff in before release, AFAIK. Yeah, I used to be able to get albums the day before release years ago from a certain record shop but they went out of business.......group of older people worked there, loved that place, discovered a lot of great music from them. God bless.

I do love the message of the song. Sick of people being down about "the world". Your world is your fucking world. No one elses. Let the shit out of your control sort itself out, it always does. Couldn't agree more! It's exactly the message I was trying to get across in the 'Noel on Brexit' thread yesterday. Just enjoy the ride, guys

Although the French bit is saying the world is ending so I think it's more of a sarcastic song. I cant speak french so I'll let the funky music do the talking

I hope it's like two years ago with CY and it leaks minutes after I've come home gloriously drunk. Those were the days.

Dead in the Water.... YES yes yes yes, there’s that Noel Gallagher melody i love and hoping rest of song is good. IABW is pretty good... maybe a grower - going to listen on headphones.

Listening again to the 3 tracks since they were released : going from the 70s glam of Holy Mountain to the late 80s / early 90s synths of Beautiful world is weird. I suppose Keep on Reaching will be a mix of both, or simply a disco song. Now that would be fun.

Just sayin'.

Do we know how the songwriting credits have been divvied up on this album? Asking because the more we learn the more it seems like it was very much a collaborative project, fronted by Noel.

I like the studio version of IABW a lot more than the live version. Wasn’t keen when he played it live, but it is a good song.
