I remember my group of friends singing Yellow Submarine at school constantly when we were around 5 or 6 in 2002. I've no idea why but that was the first Beatles song I became aware of without knowing it was a Beatles song. I still prefer 'Love You To' though.  |

Love You To is amazing, don't get how you can't love it. That riff is class and the melody is smoooooooooth...One of my favourites.

I perfectly remember the day I discovered Yellow Submarine. I was 8 and I was in a car with my parents and was thinking "thats good. Its The Beatles, right ?".
Its only when I was on my 12 that I really began to come into the Beatles. It was like dicovering treasures after treasures: Hey Jude, Yesterday, Come Together, A Day In The Life, etc. I had in my catalogue the main singles, and then a song like Yellow Submarine was clearly not on the same level for me. But its a fun song, just not in the Beatles highlights moments of brilliance. Still millions times better for a kid to get into that song than a utter shit by Bieber and co, though
