Small rant: It is annoying when you're forced to buy both tracks, especially when they're not even selling the single mastering. The TDOTL digital single is just the album track. It has the lead-ins / lead-outs from the album that don't really belong on the single. Same with BOTMI, where you can hear the cross-fading from YKWCGB. BTW, the Album versions on the promo CDs for TDOTL and BOTMI both have the correct single masters. The TDOTL single is in 24/96 on 7 digital, whereas the official site is 16/44.1. That's a partial reason I didn't buy the digital bundle as the tracks are unavailable separately and I don't want the title track itself, feels like a half arsed job. I tried to buy the demo twice from the official store but twice, once on my phone and once via the laptop, the store failed to provide a secure server. TM emailed me asking why I never completed the purchase so I said if the site won't connect me there is not much I can do about it, we'll see what their reply is. **EDIT** They've fixed the problem, got the demo now. I actually was experiencing the exact same problem on the BDI store...they haven't gotten back to me yet, hope it's been fixed! |

why did Noel even release this? didnt do a video and he didnt even play in those acoustic sets when it would have been easy to put in, hes already played it acoustic before and the full band version isnt far off what he wouldve done with gem anyway.
least the girl with the x ray eyes demo got put out, just seems more a management decision rather than Noel actually wanting to release another single.

Welcome to life as Noel Gallagher. I was just thinking about the DOTL full band version and what it wouldve required to play it as the acoustic shows and theres nothing that much different. Noel plays it acoustic = jobs a gooden no change mike rowe on keyboard = jobs a gooden no change terry kirkbride on drums = the guy did an AMAZING job on if I had a gun (and the other songs for that matter) Im sure he could manage DOTL Gem on electric guitar = the guy is awesome, he managed to learn the other HFB songs so Im sure he could manage DOTL can you imagine that solo played by Gem? beautiful. he played acoustic twice I think and played it on about 3 tv shows full band earlier this year yet time to be released its nowhere to be seen. ....its the new single.....come on Noel |

Oasis paved there way instead of being the other way round .. Since the 90's like we all know this has really shown time and time again |

I think that if Noel fired his management and instilled you and guigsysEstring in their places Noel would never make another career misstep.  |

I swear the vocal track on the demo is the exact same as the one on the album. Sounds more like an alternate version than a demo

Sounds more like an alternate version than a demo I think its different, the final "It makes me want to cry" line sounds different, maybe the album version is just faster. part of me prefers the demo, its more honest and stripped down but I love the solo and general production of the album version, both good imo. |

Anyway to my delight it came today along with a CD of the Riverman Promo, which I have not paid for. It was a nice surprise and a good bonus for my collection. Did everyone receive this or not?
