I wonder if there will be another remix of a track with this release?
I know that it was stated that Where The City Meets The Sky collated all the official remixes but the Psychemagik Dub of The Right Stuff was not included on the EP and is still unreleased right now so possibly that or a new mix completely.

I don't understand why people care about the charts? Because if Noel is #87, then they are #87. Kick-ass! Well, I don't know about you, but I'm feeling #22

Looks like it is YOU who was wrong. Now apologise to defmaybe00 like a good boy, then sit on the naughty step until you've finished 50 hail Noelys. I merely point out that it's only a radio single and get told that I'm completely wrong? No, I was right. It's a radio single. But to give you the benefit of the doubt mossy, I didn't think or know he would announce it as an official single. Will we get a video for it now, is the question? Don't know if Noel will be arsed to release one, or more or less, make one. Is an apology in order? No, I hardly think so. Wasn't really arguing anyway. But may as well say it... "sorry". Geez.. I was clearly taking the piss. But you were wrong. And you have now changed your argument! So let's make that 100 hail noelies on the naughty step. Peace.

Can't wait to hear the demos for Lock All the Doors, Mighty I, and the Right Stuff. There already is a demo of Lock All the Doors The HFB demo.

There already is a demo of Lock All the Doors The HFB demo. Knowing Noel he'll probably include the Oasis demo on the Speed of Magic-esque demo album he may release early next year. That would explain why it was left off the DM reissue!

I'm shocked at this to be honest, haha. Wasn't being pissy, was just trying to point out that I didn't think he would in fact release anymore singles, which is possible now that he did with TDOTL. smh..

Noel should come up with something cool for Record Store Day in 2016. Not sure about what you mentioned. That's basically what I already have from the CY bonus CD. There's also that friggin film soundtrack he's supposed to be doing for Mike Bruce. That said films get delayed / cancelled a lot more than music. Yeah... We're never gonna hear it. God I hope that film gets cancelled, it sounded terrible! I'd rather Noel didn't waste good new material on OSTs a la WPTWOTWOMS with Goal. The blurb for that movie only ever said "featuring the music of Noel Gallagher and Mercury Rev" though. It was never certain that he was writing new music specifically for it and when in an interview he was asked if the instrumentals he was working on were for a soundtrack he said no.

I get what you mean, although I think film soundtracks can be a good side-thing for Noel that, who knows, might give him more publicity. There's certainly several examples of musicians who made it big based on one film song (not that Noel needs to "make it big" because he's already big, but it doesn't hurt to have your name on movie credits). I think he enjoys doing those kinds of things, and I'm not sure those film songs would be "wasted" necessarily. He's always writing stuff in his spare time and must have tons of songs tucked away that he has yet to pull out. As for TDOTL, I'm rather glad it'll be a single. I still like the demo more (and when Noel performs it acoustically like he did on the Nicky Byrne show) but it's definitely an underrated song in my opinion. It's beautiful and melancholy, and the arrangement on the album has grown on me, and seeing it live at Governor's Ball in New York this year was quite special.

But to get that publicity he'd need to write the lead song for a major film. Not this Mike Bruce turd which is going to sink without a trace.

Mike Bruce is the one that made things such as the video for What A Life! and Everybody's On The Run.
Enough said.

The WAL video was cool, something special at least.
EOTR though, and Do the Damage (AKA the one that was so bad they tacked it on the b-side last minute)...

Fuck, I thought that this would be released today instead of one month from now. Why bother waiting two months to release a single that nobody's gonna buy?

I like how Coldplay (and really every band these days) release a song to iTunes and for sale the day it premiers. It's not 1995 anymore. You aren't in Oasis. You aren't 28. You are almost 50 and releasing a slow burning ballad as single #4 or #5 for an album that wasn't a world beater.

Hopefully the video will be released soon.
They usually upload it on YouTube about a month before the single's release. At leat, that's what they've done with Noel's previous singles.
