I wonder if he will ever play Etihad Stadium, I mean, his arena tour was sold out almost everywhere? It would be nice seeing him do Wembley. Don't think he will play stadiums as I think he questions his ability to pull it off....Even more of a reason to reunite Oasis (seriously). You know he misses playing to a crowd of 80,000.

Do you think he can fill Wembley Stadium? Or Etihad Stadium?

I think he might have a shot at a big open air gig in Manchester if there wasn't a lot of other gigs around eating into ticket sales but can't see Wembley. Its an extra 30,000 people to City's stadium and a lot more expensive for fans and the like.
Also I do agree with Noel I'm not sure at all if he is the sort of act for Wembley. I've always enjoyed Noel solo more in a smaller setting.

does anyone know if this is a legitimate single?
it seems to be only radio x playing it, which obv noels doing their tour so could just be a bit of back scratching?

The time for singles to be important for this album disappeared the second it was decided You Know We Can't Go Back was not one.

we'll most definitely get a Knebworth live album plus documentary ( approved and confirmed by Noel!). This made me chuckle.

Yeah, I know, but Noel kind of let the news slip earlier this year, like he needed to get it out. I'm pretty sure he prefers the Knebworth project over the BHN reissue. For obvious reasons. I'm also not intending to judge the way Ignition is managing the Oasis heritage - it certainly makes much more sense to push the BHN reissue back to its 20th anniversary and concentrate on Knebworth next summer. I just want that reissue so bad. Especially the Mustique demos, which will be on there (approved and confirmed by Noel on Reddit). This tape is what I really was EXCITED about when the Chasing The Sun campaign was first announced. They shouldn't have teased us in the first place. Oh well, who am I telling this...

Oh I agree with you completely and expect Knebworth to come out in all honesty. After Noel called a press conference to announce a super exciting experimental album and then canned it, I won't believe anything he says until I'm holding the record. And I've listened to it. All the way to the DAMN END!

The was an article in last weeks Music Week magazine which gave details of all the major albums etc coming out before Christmas. This is what it says: 'Extensive quarter four marketing and promotional campaign is in place for the biggest selling independent album of the year. New single Dying Of The Light is classic Noel Gallagher and goes to radio in October. A Radio 2 in Concert is planned for December and Noel is in demand for National TV performance promo through the period. An album of remixes will also be released in quarter for.'

Who on earth buys these single releases (excluding the lead) besides us diehard fans anyway? What would be the point of releasing anything other than what the diehard fans want? For some reason that doesn't seem top on Noel's priorities. Considering all of Noel's singles are on top of the vinyl singles chart for this year, quite a lot of other people too.

Would've been great if he did a gig at the BBC Radio Theatre like he did for NGHFB in 2011.

With all that promo it might even reach #175 in the charts instead of #325

Indeed." That's all we got. Owen Morris and Ian Cooper remastered the whole 14-song tape, although the song Be Here Now was strangely missing from the tracklist Owen shared, even though it was demoed.

The previous reissues had a mix of demos, live tracks, versions - I expect BHN to follow the same pattern and like fabulousbakers I (unfortunately) seriously doubt we'll get all the Mustique demos. I'd be delighted to be proved wrong.

Didn't Noel say in an interview that he wrote the song in Mustique after playing around with one of Mick Jagger's kids' toy piano?

That post is 5 months old tho The age of the post is no matter. It's the PROMOTIONAL significance of the track. When radio hosts say "new single", they mean radio single. And the reason Noel has made no comment on the track being a single is because it's wrong.
