So now let's pit the two production disasters against each other. Which do you think is worst?
For me, the better one has to be HFB. Though the mixing of nearly every track is egregious, many tracks do have a lot of energy to them. Broken Arrow and SOTWB are good examples of this. And especially What a Life! That song flows so perfectly, and really adds a shot of adrenaline to the album. Compare this to the plodding dirge of HC, with absolutely no life or energy in it whatsoever.

Is there even remotely a contest of something produced worse than HC? I didn't think there was, or ever would be.

It is not great but you can't call HFB production disaster.

HFB, far and away.
There are sooo many moments on HC that seem amateur and flat, like a garage rock band with no experience behind a mixer board wrote, recorded, and produced their own album in a studio with some of the tools Oasis used.

I'm sure that HC would be so better with a good production

I'm sure that HC would be so better with a good production There are countless moments where better production would've saved the songs. For example, Force of Nature is one where there is so much going on in the mix, yet when it should feel detailed, it feels cluttered. The riff could've been aggressive, yet it plods like crazy. The ending could've been chaotic and massive, yet it sounds lifeless. Liam vocals could've replaced the lackluster performance by Noel (I mean, you can even hear Noel struggling to hit high notes, and taking pauses mid-melody as if to catch his breath. Wtf). Unfortunately, it ended up as the shit song that we all know and hate.
