Do you think Noel will keep the guitar solos for his (or Oasis') next album? And how effective do you think they were on CY?

I hugely enjoyed the solos on Chasing Yesterday and I think 9 out of the 10 tracks had some sort of solo. I've no idea whether Noel will use solos for his next album but I'm sure I heard him say that he was pleasantly surprised that the new album has so many guitar solos on it, or something to that effect. Hopefully there'll be a few.

I don't think there'll be as many solos, but I think he's more up to extra guitar work, which is nice, because creating small little licks or fills to lift a song is what he's brilliant at, and it shows with the entirety of WTSMG.

I loved the fact that every single song on CY had a guitar solo (bar ITHOTM), as it seemed that every solo made the song what it was. Hopefully they'll make a comeback on the next album, but if the music's great, then I don't care about whether there are any solos.

No. On the next album, the guitars will be replaced with kazoos.

Love the solos. Very effective. I'm guessing there will be more of a balance next album.
Also, as I have said many times before and will again, Noel should really do some violin solos/riff work. It would be great.

I thought the solo on riverman was great. Did Paul Stacey have something to do with it?
