From what I recall, Here's A Candle is not very good but it's harmless. There are worse NGHFB tunes.

Leave my guitar alone and here's a candle are some of Noels most harmless, campy, and fun songs. Can't see the hate. AKA... Broken Arrow is pretty wretched though.

The Good Rebel is really Oasis. A simple but great and lovely tune.
Do The Damage is really bad.

Good Rebel was worst NGHFB song in 2015, from that period he recorded at least 10 songs worse than Good Rebel.

I’d say The Good Rebel. Birthday Cake is sort of bland and boring but as others have said, harmless. Still, pretty good that we’re mostly only talking B-sides as his worst songs.

The fuck was I thinking when I voted in this poll five years ago? I cast my votes for Soldier Boys, Shoot a Hole into the Sun, and You Know We Can't Go Back. Nowadays I'd go for A Simple Game of Genius, The Good Rebel, and Lock All the Doors. ASGOG is a decent song absolutely murdered by its egregiously insipid production. The Good Rebel is just a terrible song, and Lock All the Doors was an unfortunate waste of a nice chorus.
