I read a lot of comments about how some Noel sung songs in High Flying Birds would be far better with Liam's voice. Personally I think Noel's voice is now better than it's ever been while Liam post 2000 has been rather patchy to say the least. So turning it around which Liam sung songs from both Oasis and Beady Eye do you feel may have been better had Noel sung them?
I reckon these tracks:
Three Ring Circus - I think this is a great tune and while I do like Liam's voice on the initial verses the rest of the song (I hesitate to say the word Chorus when it comes to Beady Eye) feels to me like Noel's voice would have served it far better.
Iz Rite - Whenever "When you call my name, it takes away my pain" kicks in I yearn for a voice with more range that can open up a triumphant chorus like Noel can.
I Hope, I Think, I Know - I think this song could have a lot more levels vocally than the recorded version has so I feel it would have been better handled by Noel if it was recorded today.
Roll It Over - Listen to the demo version, Noel imbues the song with far more emotion than Liam's recorded version. I think a proper recorded version of this with Noel would have made it far more memorable than it ended up being. It's pretty clear to most that SOTSOG in it's entirety would have been far better if some Liam sung tracks (PYMWYMI and I Can See a Liar) were swapped for Noel sung tracks which were wrongly relegated to B-sides (One Way Road, Cigarettes in Hell).

End thread then, the Lord has spoken. It is an interesting topic but for me Liam's voice will always give a song something incredibly special in a way that Noel's doesn't. I'm sure many people on here feel the same way. And before anyone jumps on my reply, I'm in no way attempting to start a Liam vs Noel thread.

Totally agree on Roll it Over, I've always preferred the demo version.
Other than that, I can't really come up with any. Noel sang on the good tracks that he wrote for the last two albums.

Hmm I don't know. I prefer Noels voice, and definitely now, but they've almost always sung the songs that fit their voices best. Roll It Over is an interesting one though. Oh and the other way around it's the same End of shut the fuck up

I love the demos of I Hope, I Think, I Know and Roll It Over with Noel on vocals but there is (was) something amazing about Liam's voice, that's why I prefer Liam''s versions

There are two types of people in this world. Liam people... and Noel people.
I'm a Noel person all the way. The most under rated singer in music IMO. Gets nowhere near enough credit for his voice which is unique, emotional and powerful. He seems to get better every year. Don't get me wrong Liam's vocals in the mid 90s were stunning, but can we really consider someone a great singer if they had about 3 years of consistently great singing and then spent the rest of their career sounding like Kermit getting deep throated by a 16 inch rubber cock? Noel meanwhile has been far more consistently reliable singer throughout his career.

Disagree with all the suggestions in the opening post. To be honest the only ones I'd offer up Noel over Liam would be songs like Love Like A Bomb where Liam's vocal is utter shit, and you'd be better off just getting Liam to record it again.

None. Still pisses me off that Noel sang on ANY Oasis songs. Maybe from DBTT onwards it was a bit more palatable as Liam's voice began to wane, but for the best singer in the world to not sing every song on the albums previous is criminal.

Your welcome They badly need to release properly mastered versions of these demos. All the Be Here Now demos out there online sound like they've been recorded by 1920s equipment.

I Hope I Think I Know and Up in the Sky.
I'd love to hear Noel sing the two songs because his BHN demo take of IHITIK was great, and UITS would sound cool with him drifting in and out of falsetto, like he did on The Importance of Being Idle, and Idle Part II, The Death of You & Me.
