I've only heard a few of the covers from bands like Travis, Stereophonics, and The Magic Numbers, but does anyone know which song Oasis is covering in this new BBC thing in which big name acts are contributing a cover of a track from the Beatles album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club band. I believe it will be played on the radio in a little more than a week in association with the BBC. I live in the US, so I really don't know much about whats going on regarding the album's release.

That's the one I've heard they're doing too.

It's a damn shame they're not doing A Day In the Life and U2 apparently is.

Liam and Noel's vocal styles are perfect for that song. What are we gonna get now?.....Bono and the Edge? ::)

I'm sure U2 told them that either they get that song or they're not participating.
