Supergrass re-release I Should Coco, on the 4th of September 2015. Originally released on 15th May 1995. The 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition of I Should Coco has a remastered version of the album on disc one, with a second disc of ‘B-Sides, Demos, Out-Takes & Curios‘. This CD rounds up all the official B-sides and extra tracks and augments with unreleased material including four-track demos of album tracks such as I’d Like To Know, Alright, Lenny and She’s So Loose. This disc also includes early Backbeat Records A and B-sides which were not the same as the versions released when the group signed to Parlophone. The third CD features two live sets; one from Bath in late 1994 before the album had been issued, and the second set is from France in August 1995 by which point the album and all the singles had been released. This song will not be on it...its from their 3rd album. Attachments:

Yes! This is one of my favourite albums (although i prefer 'supergrass' to this one) ever. Good fun britpop tunes from start to finish and 'time' and 'sofa' are the great ones on this album. I like this re-releases as i like to have all b-sides and rarities stuff from a particular era combined.
Really great album, especially when you take into account that they were kids of 15/16 years old at that time.

Only Gaz Coombes was 18. The others were a year or more older.
Life on Other Planets was the most overlooked album of the year 2002.

I would like to see Release the Drones being released an album they almost finished back in 2010. The only good song on Gaz Coombe's album was White Noise
The rest was literally "White Noise".

Supergrass is great, they sound like if Oasis and Blur mixed togheter into one band.
I could see Liam singing many of their songs.

Supergrass are more like Elastica and Echobelly to me, Sleeper..those groups. But they can hold their own musically I think.
Until 2010 anyway. Release the Drones might of been their most important album yet.
Gaz Coombes doesn't want to release it.
Maybe after this next tours finished.

Because studio recording recordings get better. A lot of those were done on analogue tape. Better mixes of recording tracks can make it sound more up to date after a while.
That and people listen to the same thing over and over, gets repetitive.
Its also an excuse to release extra recordings like B Sides that are becoming hard to get hold of or expensive as they only appeared on singles from years ago.

Supergrass is actually probably the most underrated band out of the britpop era. Gaz is an outstanding writer and a pretty dope guitarist as well. When they were young they had an incredible punkish energy that went well with their lovable cartoonish charm. I Should Coco is one of 10 the best debut albums of the 90's. People praise the La's album to death on here, but I Should Coco is just as strong if you go song by song. Maybe it's not as mystical as the La's but Supergrass is one of the most fun bands around.
Their second album, In It For The Money is just as strong with only the closing track being weak. Their 3rd and 4th albums are good in their own right, but they didn't make another truly great album until they shifted their sound on the Road to Rouen.
I remember falling in love with these guys back in the summer of 09. Good times back near the end of high school. People forget just how good these guys were. Seriously they have 3 legitimately great albums that any rock n' roll fan should love. I think I'll give them a spin tonight. Miss this cheeky kind of punk rock. I imagine a pop song like Alright would will make it on the radio today, but you'd never think that a song like Richard III would get as high as #2.

Spring 97, saw the Cheapskate video.. then Sun Hits The Sky... bought the first 2 albums.. and they're still in my top 5 bands ever. every single they released are amazing. they were always my Stones where Oasis were my Beatles... dunno if that makes sense but it did (and still does) to me. As much as In It For The Money (the title track) is a great opener, I'll agree with Cast , the closing track isn't what it's 'supposed' to be. didn't get Gaz' first solo album but his new one Matador is one fine piece of music. you should check out the singles. if you want Noel G to leave his comfort zone, well Gaz did and the music he's making is fantastic. ANYWAY. here's Going Out.. if you don't like it, well you can comfortably fuck off. (the drummer is up their with Keith Moon)
