I have just watched Take That My Top 11 on Music Max on Foxtel, here in Australia. My wfe was flicking around and found it as she likes the band. Anyway I was just leaving the room when I heard that the first video was The Importance of Being Idle. Then one of Take That (Jason Orange so my wife says) said there was a story behind the choice because in 2005 he met Noel in a Health Food restaurant in London . Noel recognised him and asked him what he was up to and he replied "Nowt." Noel said "what you mean Nowt you can't just do Nowt", and The Take That guy said "no just Nowt". (Nowt is mancunian for Nothing)
Then he thought when TIOBI was released was Noel inspired by their meeting??
My wife played me patience off the new TT album and it is very very good in a boy band kind of way. Pop genius I have to say. I alsways say good music is good music.
So there you go, maybe true maybe not. But it was good to see an oasis video on Australian TV.

Oh and you can stop covering up with your wife, cos we know you like Take That ;D (patience is a decent song though... don't flame me!)

Bollocks, frankly. Nowl himself admitted he stole the idea from the title of a book of poems (or sayings, was it? Somesuch thing). There is no positive correlation in that story to suggest it is anything other than a member of Take That talking out of his arse. What a shocker that would be.
