This is great, thanks for posting! Not a fan of Bob Dylan, so I actually prefer this to the original....! *hides in protective shield*

I find it ironic that Noel's musical heroes (Neil Young and Bob Dylan) are so productive and progressive at all times. Noel marches at a snails pace. No gumption at all. Both those guys probably each have released more albums over the last decade than Noel/Oasis has in the last 20.

Since 2005, he's released three studio albums. That said, he's also released two albums of covers, and numerous 'Bootleg Series' albums (though of course these mostly comprised of material recorded in the 60s and 70s). Also, the dude is in his mid-70s, and has been on a 'Never-Ending Tour' since the late 80s.

I should also add that Dylan was incredibly prolific in the 60s and 70s, releasing around an album a year, as well as recording tons of material that never officially saw the light of day until the aforementioned Bootleg Series releases. The next one is rumoured to cover the years 1965-66 and run to 18 discs! If only Noel would pull his finger out and start mining the Oasis archives!

Hell, even The Beatles released a dozen of albums in 8 years. All pretty good, if I may say so. Noel is not prolific and that's a thing that frustrates me a bit, but at least the albums are still good.

Sorry Noel, but I love the one by my man much better.

I like both covers a lot! The original is great too. I still fucking hate harmonicas though.

It was a little under 30 years after his debut that the bootleg series began, so hopefully we can expect noel to start properly raiding the vaults by 2023! Funny to think that between then and now were likely to only get 2 or 3 more NG albums! Lazy bastard.

Many thanks to the uploader!
Noel really sounds fantastic here - why the hell isn't it part of his setlist?

The YouTube video was only uploaded yesterday. As far as I'm aware, there was another version of Noel performing DTTIA doing the rounds, but this version is more complete and in better quality.

Both those guys probably each have released more albums over the last decade than Noel/Oasis has in the last 20. To be for to Noel, in terms of the Oasis days 94-97, his band were in a position of cultural influence in England that no other artists were. 94 there was an album, 95 there was an album and massive tour then you had the huge be here now era. Looking back on that period at least there's not much more they could have done in terms of work rate. He got frustratingly lazy post 2000 but when it takes him 3 years to put out SOTSOG then putting an album out every year isn't going to be a good idea. I think now Noel is alone and his name is on the line more he has stepped it up. Albeit we waited a long time inbetween HFB and CY, I think that was more a case of Noel not having no where near the depth of songs he liked to make out. Now I think he actually does and we are seeing this with the planned album so soon after CY.

I was just commenting that this was not the first time we heard Noel play this song in souncheck. I believe previously it was in Mexico or something. Not sure the quality but He's definitely done it. I remember all the threads on it years ago. Having said all that it would be cool to see him bust it out once and awhile. Shake things up.
