So, now that 'Here's A Candle' has leaked on German Spotify, we've got 10 non-album tracks from High Flying Birds. Given the two 'proper' albums have ten tracks, it seemed like a nice idea to create a third 'album' from these, rather than just having a chronological playlist.
Here's what I've gone for:

03. Revolution Song
04. Here's A Candle (For Your Birthday Cake)
05. Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me

I left off Here's a Candle because it seemed out of place wherever I put it, and plus, today was the first time I heard it so that also made it hard to do.

That's not a bad record. I mean it'd be a bad Oasis record, but it'd be a fucking amazing Coldplay record. It's all relative, we got some great 'b-sides', or whatever, although I feel they were better on the last record. Except Revolution Song. Which is hardly new. And Freaky teeth sounds best live.

Honestly, I'd put that on the same level as HC at least. You got the singles with Come On It's Alright (if you count that), Freaky Teeth and Revolution Song, as well as standout tracks like A Simple Game of Genius, Do the Damage, Alone on the Rope...

The bsides have been brilliant over these two albums, noel REALLY got lazy after 1998 as far as bsides go so it's great that he seems keen to spoil us again.
I've just checked and after 1998 we only got 11 noel written b-sides! During the first 3 oasis albums you essentially got a free album if you bought all the singles!
Good times are back.
