There are some gigs where they played D'You Know What I Mean? and Some Might Say. Does anybody know what songs they played if Noel didin't quit?
If Noel didn't quit the tour it was my favorite tour I think, last tour with good vocals from Liam, they played Who Feels Love?, Where Did It All Go Wrong, Go Let It Out and Step Out. They should've played Some Might Say at the Wembley gigs

Sunday Morning Call also abandoned way too early. American fans were lucky to get WDIAGW so that was rad. I still think the setlist was rather light on SOTSOG tracks. They should have tried PYMWYMI.

The set would have been the same as the ones at Wembley etc. Only the first month or two of the tour has relatively good vocals from Liam. After Noel quits his voice goes rapidly downhill. Case in point - listen to Wonderwall on the Familiar to Million CD. The vocal track is taken from Yokohama in March 2000, where he sounds pretty good, apart from "I'm sure you've heard it all before..." which is from the Wembley gig. Difference in tone is quite striking, to me at least.
They hadn't had that much time to rehearse as a band so not many other songs could be chucked in.
They dropped DYKWIM and Some Might Say because Liam couldn't reach the notes.

Sucks that they replaced it with Shakermaker.

Sucks that they replaced it with Shakermaker. Actually Shakermaker returning to the set through the rest of the tour was an absolute highlight. Loved to hear them do it since 96. Even then it wasn't a big song since 94.

I thought it was great when they bought back morning glory, fade away and I am the walrus for the 2001 tour of brotherly love and then at the end of the HC tour in 2003 they bought back BIOD back into the set.

People seem to be forgetting Some Might Say was done on Jools Holland in 2000. Pretty sure it's in the original key too.

To my Knowledge jools 2000 was the first thing Oasis did that year- maybe Radio 1 was before that but yeah it went Jools 2000- Japan tour some might say was dropped after that

The instrumentation sounds great-really tight. You can clearly hear how Liam is struggling with the chorus though, and during the second chorus he's just changing the key a bit, which takes away a lot of it. When he starts singing at the beginning it sounds a bit off as well.
Shame they had to throw it out, but a good thing they did.

Partly because of Williams vocal
Partly cos of Noel anti-BHN crusade at 2000
even though obviously he likes DYKWIM..as we saw in 2002

The SOTSOG tour was pretty much a greatest hits tour really. Only 4 tracks from the album in an 18 track set list on 'Familiar To Millions', that's shocking. Only one track from Be Here Now, I think they should have carried on with 'D'You Know What I Mean?' and 'Don't Go Away' at least.

A really shame. I'm glad Liam carried on. I think it's strange too that Noel did play the gigs in England

Liam still sounded great in 2000 and that was near the end of his golden age of vocals. Sounds miles better than 2002 to present.

I thought the band sounded great at the Leeds festival 28th August 2000. There was lots of talk around at the time that the band would split up but when they walked on stage and Noel shouted "this isn't the funeral" the band smashed it. They were good that night! It was broadcast on BBC Radio 1. One of the best performances of the tour

The first gig or two of the Brotherly Love tour they did SMS in original key. Then dropped it again.
Love the Jools version though, one of my favourites of the song.
