Watched a Noel interview the other day where he was talking about being a Roadie for them pre-Oasis. I realized I'd never actually heard that band even after knowing this for many years and so I checked some of their stuff on youtube. They seem alright, I plan to go through their entire discography soon. I really dig Two Worlds Collide.
What are your opinions on Inspiral Carpets? Favorite songs?

I can't say I know them very well, but I've listened to a lot of the things they've made and I have to say they were a solid band. They have a few tunes I really like, and Two Worlds Collide is truly great imho. My favorite song from them I really like Joe too.

As far as I know them, which is especially their debut "live", I like them very much. I have all their albums by now, including the latest one and I am looking forward to getting to know them better as well. Favorite songs so far: -Directing traffik -Monkey on my back - which is a cover, I think -Sackville - that is my favorite one, just for that song I had to walk to Sackville street when I was in Manchester last year, song title pilgrimage -Butterfly -I want you (I prefer the version without Mark E. Smith' ramblings, though) -Further away -A to Z of my heart

Not especially. I wouldn't choose to listen to them but I wouldn't object if somebody played one of their albums. I voted for alright.

I have only known 3 songs... this is how it feels, dragging me down, and another one I can't remember. I like them, but I never felt like digging deeper.

They're alright.
One of their songs was in a Britpop playlist and that one was pretty good, heard a few others but stopped listening after I came across 2 tracks that I didn't really like. So no, I don't know all of their stuff and I can't remember the titles either. It's probably the few most played songs on their Spotify page that I've heard.

Haven't listened. Not really inclined to. And once again, the forum consensus and myself are in agreement.

The real question is: what is a inspiral carpet? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inspiral_CarpetsNoel has been one of their roadies. Also he has doen an audition when the band needed the new singer, but he wasn't chosen.

The real real question is: what is a mimmihopps? Have you ever heard of Diddl, a mouse from Germany? Mimmihopps was a rabbit, a friend of Diddl. There were complete shops with stuffed animals, and all sorts of accessoires, especially the writing paper was very popular at one point.
