He's talked before about only releasing albums in March or October. It won't be ready in March so Q3 2016 at best!

At some point in 2017 I think...he said before releasing CY he'll never take a break as long as the one between HFB1 and HFB2 ever again, let's hope it's true
Assuming it'll be ready by the time Noel finishes to tour in 2016 (I guess he'll be doing festivals again,so let's say the tour ends in August/September),we might get it around March 2017

It's been quite unusual how Noel has seemed so eager to dive straight back into new projects so soon after the Chasing Yesterday release.
I wonder whether this might be the thing for which he suggested Jamie xx was involved, we didn't have confirmation but we did get a "What was that? Jamie xx? Yeah, no comment" from him.
Whatever he has up his sleeve, I hope it isn't shelved like the Death In Vegas or AA sessions. Tragic how we may never hear those.

2018
I'm sorry but no chance it'll be earlier. I don't care what Noel says. He's booking another long leg of the tour, he'll take time off, he'll want to redo the drums and then he'll wait until October. October 2018. Unless he scraps it altogether. But we'll get a Noel album in late 2018 regardless

It's quite complicated to guess when the new stuff will be released.
Assuming that, for the first time, Noel finishes the album when he expects to, we can try to make sense of the timeline:
- LATD single in late August. - (Presumably) a remix EP in the autumn. - Noel finishes the album before the new year. - The BHN reissue should be released before Christmas to benefit from this lucrative season, but then it would be too close in time to two NG releases (and let's not forget everything is run by the same office). Could it be released in the spring? - Now, Noel will still be touring next year, maybe all through the first half. Thus, there's no way the first single for the new album will be released before next summer, which would set the earliest release date for the album in October 2016. However, he's mentioned in interviews how much he hated waiting for so long to see CY (which was finished in June 2014) be released. - There have been rumours about a Knebworth release. August 2016 is the 20th anniversary.
As we can see, there are conflicting interests here: - Noel not wanting to see his album released too late (if it's finished early). - Noel touring and promoting CY. - The Oasis releases.
If he finishes the album this year, then I guess the only solution is releasing the BHN stuff before Christmas, the first single around March and the album in the summer. Then, the second leg of the tour could promote the new album as well as CY.
All of this seems highly unlikely, so my money is on the album being released in 2017. Given the Oasis releases, I guess Noel will take more time to polish the album after he's done touring in 2016, which would push the release into the following year.

Kind of hoping for Q2 2016, and then him headlining Glastonbury, but one can hope!

Actually no, it might be 2018 now I think of it. I don't know why they make his tours so monstrously long! He's gonna be bloody knackered by the end of it and want a rest before even considering getting in a studio again.

To the people who are selecting 2018 and beyond:
Don't forget that Noel sometimes uses old tunes, but never old recordings. The new album was started in 2014 together with CY. There will be recording sessions this year. If Noel doesn't scrap the material, it will get released in 2017 the latest.

March 2017 is my bet. He seems eager and hated the waiting period after recording CY, he won't make that mistake again

Seriously, if he has it finished by the end of the year like he intends then there's no reason why he can't release it March 2016.

Never trust a Gallagher when it comes to finishing albums. If he says it'll be done by the end of this year, it'll definitely be the end of next year at the earliest.

There is no reason to give Noel any benefit of any doubt about an upcoming release. Until its officially announced, dont expect it til '17 at the earliest. I wholly expect him to tour CY a little bit more than already's been announced/rumored and then we'll see some form of live release (hopefully a live release is of the acoustic tour) first and then something new.

July 2015 - Noel says his new album will be complete by the end of that year. Despite this boast, he keeps touring and announcing new live dates.
March 2016 - Noel's tour has kicked on longer than expected. It finally finishes.
April 2016 - After tour an exhausted Noel takes six months off.
September 2016 - Noel begins recording new solo album.
October 2016 - Noel unhappy with sessions and abandons them.
November 2016 - Noel is sidetracked by new project and spends months recording with an alternative band called The Manic Mooching Mixhead Monkeys On Mopeheads. Everything is recorded backwards and the studio is filled with helium gas to change the sound. Noel says it's the greatest thing he's ever done.
December 2016 - Noel announces that The Manic Mooching Mixhead Monkeys On Mopeheads project has been abandoned because of a dispute over the color of the helium being pumped into the studio.
January 2017 - Noel spends three months looking for a new producer for his solo album before deciding to produce it himself instead.
March 2017 - Noel finally records solo album.
April 2017 - Noel spends two months looking for somebody to mix his new solo album before deciding to mix it himself instead.
June 2017 - Final album delivered to record company. Record company (knowing how Noel and Oasis work) have refused to set aside a release date until final master tape of album is actually handed over. Next slot available in their marketing schedule is February 2018.
July 2017 - Forthcoming solo album officially announced. Although initial recording actually began over a year ago, Noel hasn't considered a title. Record company demand he give them a title "by tomorrow" and Noel joking tells them it's called TOMORROW NEVER NOELS. The work experience kid at the record company doesn't get the joke and the title is actually locked in and announced. At least Noel has a story to tell next time he's on the Graham Norton Show.
August 2017 - First single from album played on radio and officially uploaded to youtube.
December 2017 - First single actually available for purchase. Nobody can remember what it was after four months and sales are low.
January 2018 - Long awaited remastered release of the Oasis album BE HERE NOW pushed back yet again so it doesn’t clash with Noel’s forthcoming release.
February 2018 - Noel’s new solo album released.
March 2018 - Publicity for the new solo album is overshadowed when the second cousin to Liam Gallagher's manicurist tell press that plans have been overheard for an Oasis reunion being discussed.
April 2018 - Noel denies Oasis are reforming.

This is all very strange. I don't think even Noel would sit on a finished album for 1 or 2 years before releasing it, if he follows the tried and tested routing of approx 3 years in between album releases. And I find it weird he's going back on tour in early 2016 for until the summer at least. Some form of release must be planned, whether it be stretching Chasing Yesterday out (and that would explain why Dying of the Light and You Know We Can't Go Back haven't been released as a single yet - we know how he rates them both), or if he's planning to promote some form of new material.
