I dunno, I thought Noel was going for the Roses with Roll With It. For some reason it sort of reminds me of Elephant Stone.

I Will Show You (intro and guitar solo) - Still Ill by The Smiths
Love this guitar solo, brilliant. In fact, all the early stuff Noel wrote sound very similiar to The Smiths.

She's Electric is also half nicked from the theme to old UK kids TV show 'Me and You'.
You and me / Me and you There's lots and lots / For you to do There's lots and lots / For you to see Me and you / You and me

so many songs use dont look back in angers chord progression.....
let it be, basket case, one tin soldier, ladies and gentlemen we're floating in space, cryin', valley of the damned, hook, go west, your missus is a nutter, say you say me, lemon tree, scatman's world, paris, sk8er boi, torn, and don't look back in anger have all the same chord progression
I don't think noel intends to steal a lot of these, he just ends up doing it anyway. i've written songs and people have told me "man that sounds like ___" sometimes i haven't even heard it.
shakermaker stole from flying by the beatles.

Here're some more;
Won't Let You Down uses the percussion from Give Peace a Chance, The Hindu Times uses the riff from Same Size Feet by the Stereophonics, The Importance Of Being Idle is very similar to Dead End Street by The Kinks, Born On a Different Cloud uses lyrics from at least five different Lennon songs, Fade Away is similar to Help! in places, Digsy's Dinner is Lithium by Nirvana, Part Of the Queue sounds like Golden Brown by The Stranglers.
Also, I just noticed that the little riff played over the bridge of Wonderwall is the same as the one played on the chorus of Talk Tonight.

How the hell does Lithium sound like Digsy's Dinner? Unless you're talking about the chord, I'm too lazy to look at them.

I think the chord pattern's more or less the same, for at least part of the song anyway. I heard someone playing it on acoustic and although the rhythm's different, it's not a million miles away.
I'm picking out the very smallest things!

I thought somewhere I read that "Where Did you Sleep Last Night" by Nirvana influenced "Talk Tonight"

Round Are Way sounds like it came right out of The Beatles' Got To Get You Into My Life, and I think that Up In The Sky goes more with Paperback Writer, while The Beatles' Rain seems to be more of an influence to (Probably) All In The Mind from Heathen Chemistry. In my 52 year old Beatles' soaked brain, I hear Beatles or Lennon songs infused in everything that Noel writes.

The Arctic Monkeys took the riff from the beginning of Cigarettes and Alcohol (the one at 23 seconds) and used it in 'When The Sun Goes Down' just played it on a clean setting slowed down right at the very end of the song.
