In the hope that someone on here was there last night…. We were at the back and couldn't hear what Noel was saying between songs… We'd love you forever if you could care to enlighten us… ;-) Think he said something to a guy in the crowd about meeting him at his cousin's or something? What was that about? So yeah, if you could fill us in with the banter it would be very much appreciated!!!

He asked someone in the crowd if they were related, because he looked like his cousin.

He also mentioned that he wrote one song (Fade Away, I think) in India House, a block of flats not far away from the venue. This didn't get much of a reaction, so he asked if anyone in the crowd still lived there. No one cheered, and he muttered something I don't remember.

random side point It was such a good venue.

can't believe that the hotel that looks over the venue (obv not stage view tho but crowd and sound be perfect) is only £60 on a gig night.. is cheaper to book a room than buy a ticket for the gig..
