It was hilarious seeing him getting carried off stage.
No, can't imagine that either.

In 2005 they swapped Guess God Thinks I'm Abel for Supersonic in Brazil, because the crowd was chanting all along the gig... It's not much, but considering how many times I've heard the man denies request it's worth mentioning

I sadly missed that moment by a few minutes as I needed to take the last bus. But I saw what came before that, and Damon was off his tits. He was stumbling, dropping the microphone and all that. Still, the guy was hilarious, and I really liked the Should I Stay or Should I Go he did with Songhoy Blues (go and Google that band, they're fucking brilliant), and the one he played with Graham Coxon and Laura Mvula.

They played a few lines the James Bond theme music at one gig that Daniel Craig was at I seem to recall seeing

We could have Noel perform a drunken rendition of 'Blurred Lines' with Guigsy and...
I'll just leave it at that actually.

Glad Noel would never wanted not to leave the stage. Nothing to be proud of in this case. I want them to start on time, finish on time ... I' d say it' s more embarrassing than rock' n' roll.

Damon Albarn, what a fucking hero. Now THAT is rock 'n' roll. Erm...yeah, pure rock and roll, except for his music, which absolutely isn't. Not that that's a bad thing, but Blur were indie rock at best (Leisure, MLIR), and Damon solo is as far away from rock as it gets.

This comment perfectly encapsulates how deluded people can become in their fascination with pop stars they admire. Embarrassing? Get a grip.

I am all for professionalism and Damon was either drunk or stoned or whatever and it would be embarrassing for Noel to be carried of stage by security. Maybe even worse would be wearing jeans a la Damon nearly on your knees They are being paid a fortune so might be able to understand basic rules.

If Noel ever did anything like what Damon did the other night any real Oasis / NG would be in heaven! To call Damon's actions embarrassing is just frankly wrong and makes you sound stupid. The fact your saying its embarrassing for an artist to give their audience hours of extra songs comes across as highly delusional, whats there to complain about for fucks sake? I can only assume this opinion comes from your fandom of Noely poely and the fact Noel would never give us such a treat.

I don't want anarchy, but no need for rules at a bloody gig. They are artists and should express themselves. Also should be in touch with fans and be creative, not just the roadshow of the same old thing each time

Damon performing overtime and fans enjoying it is embarrassing? Yet Oasis gigs with Liam's torn voice and Noel gormlessly staring at his shoes for an hour and a half - or in some cases - walk outs from both brothers and gig cancellations ISN'T embarrassing?

To be fair to Noel. The acoustic gigs and arrangements were pretty cool and if he is doing another similar thing..then i will defiantly try to get tickets for that.

Yeah, I agree. I don't see what's embarassing about this. Maybe the fact that he was obviously drunk, but why is the fact that an artist enjoys performing his music in front of an audience that is enjoying it embarassing? I never heard criticism for artists that play longer than expected and it seems kinda weird.

Calm calm, young ragin' Matt No, just kidding, I agree. Nothing embarrassing about it. I don't even think the fact he's stoned or drunk is embarrassing. I mean, if he would've misbehaved it would be, but he doesn't. I love it when artists can enjoy themselves and want the people to enjoy it too. That he wants to continue is to me a very positive thing.

Yeah, he seems to be enjoying it, he's still extremely good and has a great connection with his fans. Plus his setlists are fantastic (he brought back Young & Lovely and All Your Life for the last few tours, both of which I adore). Noel could absolutely learn a thing or two from him
