So, I have nothing to do and I'll bring this up then. I think that Noel's personality between 2002 and 2015 changed a lot, at least in public's eyes. I don't want to talk about the 90s because he was full of drugs etc. But if you look at 2005's or 2002's interviews he looked much more I don't know... shy? (don't think so) arrogant? Not that hilarious, not like now anyway. I think that since he became a solo artist his attitude in interviews changed a lot, it looks like he's having a chat at the pub every time. Look at the last appearence at Alan Carr's show. Or compare the last two interviews with Jonathan Ross to the one in 2005. What do you think? It's just for fun anyway, I've literally nothing to do

He had better hair 10 years ago, and that's all that matters.

Why does this thread seem so familiar? If someone already talked about this I'm sorry!

Next question: who has the better personality - Noel or Liam? Chocolate cake. You don't have a clue because you're such a fangirl! Apple cake is clearly superior...and that is it.

You don't know a thing about taste. Up with this, I cannot put! The fact that you utter chocolate cake in the same sentence as apple cake shows your ignorance on the matter. You're clearly nothing more than a troll.

Get back to the hell you came from, and take your apple cake with you! Pff unbelievable.

It was actually from a terrible impression of Noel, on one of those impression shows. I think the video's gone now but Liam had allegedly been drinking Noel's tizer and they were on the Jeremy Kyle show. Noel said numerous time "up with this, I cannot put". I don't know why it was included because I've never heard him say it in real life.

They even have a national day! I have once done an attempt to bake one, but it ended up looking like a Caldera vulcano!

Up with this, I cannot put! Christopher Hitchens, is that you? What do you think of Christopher Hitchens? (sorry to derail another thread of sparkling banter btw ) I kind of have mixed opinions at the moment, and we seem to agree on a lot of things so I'd like to know what you think.

I appreciate you asking my opinion, but I'm afraid I won't be able to contribute much to a debate here, I know little of him. I've only seen some of his 'hitchslaps' to religious fanatics on YouTube, and I'm aware of his anti-monarchy stance, and his hatred of Mother Teresa. As an atheist and anti-monarchist myself, I'm inclined to like the man, and certainly, he did have a very keen wit. Whether he was likeable or not I can't say, having never read any of his books. Although, I can be sure I like him a lot more than his brother Peter.

Although, I can be sure I like him a lot more than his brother Peter. I agree with him completely on religion and he used to identify himself, as I do, as a socialist. Whether by this he meant the "anything-the-government-does", welfare state, NHS "socialism" most people know or the actual workers control, anti-capitalist socialism that's been used throughout history, I don't know. However towards the end of his life he started to seem more and more neoliberal - supporting the Iraq war for instance. He loved Orwell as I do, but then he said communism is a totalitarian ideology. Don't know how much I like him to be honest.
