There were a few decent songs on there but it all sounded the same. The reviews I read were quite critical of it for that reason.

Frankly, I like it. It's quintessentially and unashamedly The Wombats.

Reviews have been solid, in fairness. All Music especially continues to like them with another 4/5. All Music is almost always accurate, I find.

Yeah those reviews actually look pretty decent, the only one's I've read are the Drowned in Sound and DIY reviews which are hardly favourable. Metacritic suggests most reviews weren't that great too
