Mine arrived today. It was very quick (but very high postage for DHL!).   I was expecting it would be numbered, but it isn't or should I have to look in the sleeve once again? |

I missed the delivery of mine yesterday so I collected it today from the Post Office. Very pleased with it but I can't play it... Have being saying for years I need to get a record player but I've never bothered my arse!!

(Like me ) Did you receive the email that your order has been shipped? i'm from The Netherlands and I received the email on Thursday that my order has been shipped. It arrived on Friday morning just before I left home, so it was very quick, but I would have prefered a Royal mail instead of that expensive DHL. |

I was just about to say no, I never got an email, but I went and had a look in my junk folder and it was in there, dispatched on Friday 1st class Royal Mail, never came yesterday, so should be with me tomorrow! Phew!

We have a very old record player and 2 speakers at home, but because they're very old and haven't been used for ages, I really need to buy a new one. |

I've spent the morning looking at different record players online. If I'm going to buy one I think it needs to be a half decent one as I'd use it to both listen to records as well as try and get the best audio rip when necessary.
I've been buying Oasis vinyl for years and I've wanted to genuinely hear the difference in CD and vinyl so will make a point of putting some money away and get something decent.

Audio-technica is a good starter brand. But if you want quality, your budget shouldn't be any less than 500 American dollars.
That being said, even with the low quality turntables, it still sounds good, but it also sounds different. It still makes for an enjoyable and personal listening experience and is worth the 100$.

I've made a separate thread in the Sound and Vision board but just incase it gets missed thought I would make the request here too.
Does anyone have any high quality scans of the sleeve and vinyl they could share please? I took a couple of pictures for Flavio's blog but it would be great to get an upgrade. Thanks for any help.
