If Noel were to do a one off gig where he just played Oasis songs, what would your dream set list be? Lets say that you can pick 16 songs. I remember him suggesting he would be open to the idea of a gig with just Oasis songs but I can't remember where.

I would put a very different set together for an Oasis gig, but for Noel as a solo artist performing Oasis songs these are the 16 songs I've put together:-
1. It’s Good to Be Free 2. Cigarettes and Alcohol 3. Step Out 4. Live Forever 5. Digsy’s Dinner 6. Falling Down 7. Talk Tonight 8. Don’t Look Back In Anger 9. Where Did It All go Wrong? 10. Rockin Chair 11. Listen Up 12. One Way Road 13. Whatever 14. Some Might Say 15. Slide Away 16. The Masterplan
This is the order I'd like to hear them too. Some would be acoustic - for example round about 10-13 could be a sit down with an acoustic guitar part.
It's heavy on early era Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory material. Whilst I enjoy a lot of the later stuff - this is where the true quality is. In fact Falling Down is a bit of a token latter day song. But it almost holds it's own. Where Did It All Go Wrong is one of the best post Morning Glory songs and it deserves to be there. I would expect a lot of people to put Importance of Being Idle in there but I personally don't like that song at all. These aren't my 16 favourite Oasis songs but these are 16 that work together well, performed by Noel.

Man of Misery - Cigarettes and Alcohol is number 2 mate! Or do you mean you wouldn't want that song? The set needs a proper rocker and I think Noel would get away with C & A more than something like Supersonic for example.

My favourite Oasis song but Noel just doesn't do it for me. Fade away electric i think he could get away with.
