Not that they *needed* a song like this or anything, but with a few changes it might have been right for Liam's voice and fit as an album closer in place of say, Better Man.

Everything would have fit better as an album closer in the place of Better Man.
Hell, almost everything would have fit better as an album track than about half of the tracks on HC!

Whenever I hear lonely boy by black keys I always think it could have been a good track for DGSS

There's a few songs by black rebel motor cycle club. They're a great band and the singers got at great voice but I sometimes think "how good would Liam sound singing ...." or "I wish this was an oasis song" I think the liam would have been good on these BRMC tracks Weapon of choice Cold wind Need some air Love burns Whatever happened to my rock n roll (would have been sensational with Liam singing) Spread your love Rival Let the day begin
I also would have liked to have heard Liam sing the following High flying birds songs Everybody's on the run Lock all the doors Do the damage You know we can't go back
Paul weller Mermaids (perhaps if they made it more of a rock n roll song, more like oasis)

Honestly I would have to say I wish Oasis had made " Can Y'see It Now? (I Can See It Now!)" And I know thats not exactly the point of this thread, but what I mean by this is I wish they had produced a real song out of it. It is definitely one of the greatest music pieces they ever made. Outstanding, in fact. If they had only written some proper lyrics to it (with Liam OR Noel vocals, or a combo of the two) it could have been one of the greatest songs Oasis ever did. Whenever I hear it I feel sad, because of what potential it has.

Do I Wanna Know? - Arctic Monkeys
Just imagine Noel and Liam doing that chorus where the lead vocals and the backing vocals sort of call back to each other, and also some of the vocal harmonies in the song. It would sound great, imo.

I don't know why, and there has to be a reason why it isn't released yet (if it real exist). But it's one of those songs that's still unreleased, and there aren't a lot of other songs which I heard they exist but nothing heard from.

Just one of many I'm sure.

Another songwriting gem from Andy. Really don't know where this magic went during the Oasis days.

It has to be Bittersweet Symphony for me too, .
Imagine if it was the lead single off Be Here Now and it's Liam walking down the street in that video (taking nothing away from Ashcroft who I also love) but at that time when they were invincible, it'd be absolute perfection.
Liam's 97 voice would also suit it well,
Sort the royalty thing out better than Ashcroft did too and you potentially have the biggest record of all time (I do not exaggerate.
Oasis at the peak of their power, after an 18 month gap releasing THAT record, minds would be blown

I've always thought that Staring at the Sun sounds very Oasis-y. It would have fit perfectly on one of their later albums.
