Im trying to compile a list of all the live sound fx or samples which was used during Oasis gigs which they didnt record themselves.
The Smiths - Rubber Ring (end of Rock n Roll star) Thats Rock n Roll Baby (unknown) Testing Testing (Apocalypse Now - used for before FITB played) Helicopter Sounds (end of Morning glory live)
I doubt there is many but just wanted to know if anyone could add to it??
Thanks

At the end of Morning Glory, there's that one Michael Jackson played beneath the distortion.
Go Let it Out also uses a drum loop sample from Johnny Jenkin's cover of I Walk on Gilded Splinters.
Fuckin' in the Bushes has drums based on a Jimi Hendrix song that they did in studio. Noel did a take with Alan playing, and then looped it since the Hendrix estate didn't allow them to use one of their songs to sample.
Force of Nature is also similar to FITB, because of how Noel wasn't allowed to loop & sample the drums, so he just recreated it with a drum machine.

At the end of Morning Glory, there's that one Michael Jackson played beneath the distortion. Actually it was this song (listen around 1:48): I'm talking about the album version here. And the "That's Rock 'n' Roll, baby!"... I think I've read somewhere that Anais (Noel's daughter) confirmed it's her voice in that clip. Not sure if it's true or not, maybe somebody on here knows if it's bullshit or if my mind made that up

Yes, the drums on the demo are sampled from a BBC Radio 1 session recording of the Jimi Hendrix Experience playing Little Miss Lover, whereas clearance issues meant that Alan White had to recreate the same pattern for the final album mix. The version of Little Miss Lover they originally sampled is on the Jimi Hendrix Experience - BBC Sessions album, released 1998. www.discogs.com/Jimi-Hendrix-Experience-BBC-Sessions/master/82825

Anyone remember which track had the Escape From New York sample on it when they played it live?
