Thoroughly surprised nobody else has voted for 13. I'd say with just No Distance Left to Run, Tender, and Coffee & TV all on it, it's got my vote.

Haha, the poll is well distributed! Shows what a quality band they are.
The double whammy of Modern Life then Parklife is unsurpassed for me. I love them albums.
But I'm being serious about this - The Magic Whip runs the pair of them damn damn close. I honestly can't believe how great it is. Never did I think I would see the day when one of my favourite acts from my younger years would release an album as The Magic Whip.

I'm a BIG self titled Blur fan. Love the lo-fi vibes. Damon was listening to a lot of Pavement during this era and it shines brightly.

I've never listened to Leisure, the cover always freaks me out Leisure is generally regarded as poor, which in many ways it is, but it has some outstanding moments, such as "Bang", "There's No Other Way", and particularly "Wear Me Down".

I will give it a try Don't forget She's So High and Sing (which is featured on the film Trainspotting). Leisure is fine, it's by no means great but it's the sound of a young band not quite finding its feet and relying on the sounds of that time to get through (Madchester, shoe-gaze being noticeable on the album). Definitely not their best - probably their weakest - but still worth listening to.

I believe it was Graham who prompted the group in the lo-fi direction my good sir! Some of Blur's best songs are on that album, but in all honesty, it doesn't rank anywhere near my favourite. Listening to a lot of Pavement, the impact of this album was kind of diluted for me. What would you consider the best tunes on that one?

I'm not really a fan of any of their full albums but my two favourite songs (Beetlebum and Song 2) are both on Blur so I'll vote for that.

I love The Magic Whip. It's a great album, and for me proves that band comebacks can be worthwhile artistically. Deep down I know it's not their best (although I genuinely think it's pretty damn close) but I was too young to really be into their other albums when they came out. This is my Blur album. And I never expected it

Self titled one is brilliant. Think Tank's pretty good as a full album as well.

Graham was always the hip one but until Damon "embraced" a new style or genre it would never make a Blur record. Besides the obvious tunes like Beetlebum, Song 2 and On Your Own, my favorites are....... - Country Sad Ballad Man - You're So Great - Death of A Party - Strange News From Another Star
