Small rant following...
I've just bought a whole digital album because a bonus track I'm looking for isn't available on any physical version (which I already have, by the way), isn't available online via some not very legal way in good quality and isn't even available to buy as a standalone track!
This made me think: am I the only one who can't stand buying a full digital album? It's ok for singles and if you want only a certain track, but spending the same cost of a CD on some digital crap makes me a bit sad.
What's your opinion?

i'm with you all the way. it's gotta be either a cd or vinyl for me (and if i really dig the album, and/or see the album toured live..... it's both!! )

I never do digital, I absolutely refuse to.
I'll always buy the CD.

Only CDs- I always buy deluxe (hardbook) editions if available. There's no reason for me to buy a digital download.

Same with me. I don't see the point of spending $10 on a digital album when I can buy the physical one for the same. But like you all, I enjoy collecting music (though I don't enjoy running out of space).

I've never bought a full-digital album, but I've thought about getting The Magic Whip.
I'm a big fan of buying physical albums, but if the accessibility isn't there, I don't see why a full-digital album wouldn't be a good option.

I hate buying digital albums, at least for the price they set it at. It should be more like 10% of the cost of the physical CD, only then would it be worth it. Otherwise, I prefer CD or Vinyl.

I think it's alright, but I've been doing it since 2003. You just reminded me that I need to do some measurements to get a shelf built for my physical CDs.

I've never bought a digital album. I love to hold a CD, LP, EP, looking artwork and all that. Listening to music on my laptop isn't my thing.

I've never bought a digital album. It's cheaper to buy a CD and rip it. It'll probably be better quality too.

The year is 2015, not fucking 1995. Oasis are no longer around, and digital sales are the norm.

Also, CD aisles in the US are in utter disarray, and practically non-existent. I mean, every Best Buy, etc are disorganized places just telling you: Fuck right out of this store, you twat. Seriously, it's bad.

I know that AT&T data caps DSL users, but not us who use fiber connections.

Vinyl or CDs always and then copied to my iPod, unless it's a rare release with an insanely high going price or I can't get a hard copy at all. I'd be too worried that someday something might happen to my device AND I couldn't re-download because of some technicality with the service.
